Faint Contracting Ltd is looking for a Tractor Operator for the upcoming hay/baleage season starting Mid September through to approximately March 2027.
We are looking for an experienced operator, even better if you also have a truck license but not essential.
Faint Contracting Ltd is a family ran business based in the Koputaroa area within the Horowhenua region.
What we can offer you:
- A competitive hourly rate ranging between $25 to $35 depending on skill set and experience
- Operating a range of tractors, mowers, and rakes
- Truck and trailer work if you hold a class 5 license
The work involved:
The job involves driving the machinery to required job sites, operating rakes, tedder, and mowers. Using different implements throughout the season.
The ideal candidate will have the following
- At least two years experience in tractor work
- A full license with reliable transport
- Good work ethic
- Adaptable to pivot between different areas
- Flexibility to work long days/nights and weekend work
- Understand that the role is very weather dependant
- Takes pride in the machines and keeps them tidy
- Pass a drug test
