Recipe of the Month: Café Cubano
Strong. Sweet. Syrupy. And way simpler than it looks.
Here's how to make it:
1. Dose your ground coffee into the portafilter
2. De-clump with your WDT tool, level, and tamp
3. Add brown sugar evenly on top, then tamp again
4. Pull your shot
That's it!
The heat caramelises the sugar during extraction & what comes out is thick, creamy, and naturally sweet.
