We’ve already received some awesome entries for our 2027 Power Retreads Calendar—but we need more!
There are six coveted calendar spots up for grabs, and we know there are plenty more great-looking trucks and fleets running Power Retreads out there.
Whether your truck is:
• Out on the road
• Working in the bush
• On the farm
• Parked at the depot
• Or photographed against a spectacular Kiwi backdrop
…we want to see it!
To enter, simply send us:
• Your best high-resolution landscape photo
• Your company name
• Where the photo was taken
• A brief description of the truck or what it does
Please send the original, highest-quality photo rather than a screenshot or an image saved from social media.
And don’t forget—the truck must be running Power Retreads!

We’re looking for great photos of trucks and fleets running Power Retreads — and your truck could be one of six featured in our 2027 Power Retreads Calendar!
If you or your customer has a truck you’re proud of, we want to see it.
We’re looking for photos that show off your truck or fleet at its best — whether that’s out on the road, in the bush, on the farm, at the depot, or somewhere that captures what your business does.

NOW AVAILABLE FROM POWER RETREADS - A new tread from Vipal, the DV-MM offers greater resistance to chipping and puncture, which promotes greater protection for the casing, enabling a longer-lasting retread.

The DV-MM features a special groove and ejectors that prohibit the retention of stones and other objects. The blocks are designed to improve balance and stability and promote the reduction of irregular wear, while the grooves in the blocks provide moderate traction.

The tyre has been designed to address the needs of fleets – greater resistance to stone-drilling, breakage and damage caused by sharp objects; suitability for trailer axles and moderate drive axle; and packed with excellent mileage performance.

A directional lug tread developed for tough operating conditions on all types of off-road terrain. The VT840 delivers strong traction, stability, and reliable performance across challenging agricultural and industrial terrains - especially suited doe ground spreader trucks.

Its block design supports excellent grip in extreme driving conditions, while the groove layout helps the tread self-clean during use. Reinforced ties between the blocks provide greater balance and stability, helping improve safety, productivity, and operational efficiency throughout the tyre’s service life. A self cleaning pattern with cut / chip resistant compound.

Retreading isn’t just cost-effective — it’s a smart, sustainable choice backed by real results:

♻️ A new medium truck tyre uses around 83 litres of oil, while retreading that same tyre uses only about 26 litres
🌍 Reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 70% compared to manufacturing a new tyre
⚙️ Saves approximately 45–68 kg of raw materials per tyre — and keeps casings out of landfill
🔄 Turns tyres into a closed-loop solution, giving them multiple lives instead of a single use
💰 Costs 30–50% less than new tyres, with comparable mileage and performance
✅ Just as reliable as new — most tyre failures (“gators”) are caused by underinflation or poor maintenance, not retreading
