HarperHaulage Ltd Contract Driving , Tippers, Pneumatic Tankers. We transport bulk materials throughout the Waikato, Auckland and Northland area's mainly.

Once a year we travel into Marlborough at the top of the South Island to take part in the annual Grape Harvest. We shift: Sand, Metal, Coal, Grain, Fertilizer, Lime , Stockfeed etc for local Quarries and other transport operators. We have built up and maintained many long term relationships with our clients.

End of the week for normal working Bods but being a short week we’ll do tomorrow, the weather isn’t playing nicely, at over an hour and a half to pump out the truck and trailer a fair portion of my day is out in the elements. This last one is fine, all under cover👍 , some others end up with the makeshift roof. ( brolly ) does the job.

Some early AM and daybreak moves ( And plenty of Waikato Fog. ) CoF and service day today to re set the week. 👍 And an interesting early Hamilton photo borrowed from the early Hamilton site, an Alltrans BMC Glasshouse. I used to work on one of these for a local builder. 😯 , another time and place. 😀

Always interested in these, Alleys in jolly old England run these MAN heavy haulers, they have a Leibher V8 680 hp high torque engine and only built in small numbers and only left hand drive which is why we will not and didn’t see any here. By all accounts well up to the job. 👍

Last for this week, been a couple of days on over height boxes around the big smoke to change things up a little as well. Travelling streets I don’t normally as there are specific routes for those. Enjoy the weekend and hopefully the big wet won’t be as serious as maybe predicted, I hope not.
