We currently have a position available within our company for a Class 5 and Class 2 Driver.
This position is a full time position with competitive pay rates.
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following attributes:
* Have a valid Class 5 Licence
* DG & F-OSH Forklift licences are preferred but not essential as training will be given to the successful applicant
* Forklift unloading/loading experience
* Be physically fit & be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test
* Have a high regard for Health & Safety rules and procedures
* Strong clear verbal and written communication skills
* Must be reliable, punctual and committed to meeting all deadlines
* Not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty

🚧 Hyde Street temporary closure 🚧

Hyde Street, from Wigan Street to SH1, will be closed next Monday (6 March) for three weeks.

This area is part of the heavy traffic bypass. The following detours will be in place:

👉 Northbound heavy traffic will be diverting along SH1/Main Street to Medway Street
👉 Southbound heavy traffic will be diverted at Mersey Street, then SH1/Main Street

The closure allows for the replacement of a major wastewater pipeline, which runs from the Hyde/Wigan streets intersection to the Ardwick/Eccles streets intersection.

It's planned to reopen one lane of Hyde Street to northbound traffic after three weeks. The work on Hyde Street is expected to take seven weeks.

The entire project is expected to take five months - further info regarding impacts on traffic for SH1 and Eccles and Ardwick streets will be provided as the work progresses.
