With the busy season just around the corner, we are looking for extra staff to join the team over the Summer.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who share our customers' passion for boating, personal watercraft, yachting, fishing and/or watersports.
Our ideal candidate would have experience in the marine industry or previous retail/sales/customer service experience, but these are not essential as training will be given to the right person.

Our key requirements are:

* Knowledge & experience in boating/watercraft/watersports
* A great work ethic
* A positive can-do attitude
* The ability to provide excellent customer service.

The role requires a practical person, preferably mechanically minded, who has a wide range of skills and the ability to problem solve. Customer service is a big part of the role, so you must enjoy working with people.

The job is predominantly retail sales, but the work is varied covering all aspects of the running of the shop.

Other duties may include:

* Ordering, pricing and displaying stock
* Maintaining a clean & inviting retail environment
* Preparation of boats on our yard
* Assisting with the booking in and collection of workshop jobs
* Shop or workshop administrative tasks
* Website and social media
The work can be physically demanding, so you must be fit and healthy. There will be lifting of outboards and stock, and pushing of boats required.

A full NZ drivers license and the ability to tow a trailer are both essential.

We have full-time or part-time Fixed Term positions available, starting ASAP.
We can offer flexibility for the right applicant, but you MUST be available to work Saturday mornings 9.30am - 12.30pm, and throughout the Christmas/ New Year period (excluding statutory holidays).
