Gypsy Day 1/6/26 Team Moonies Movers completed our Home removal for Team Kelly.
We moved them 5 years ago, back then we moved the family within North Canterbury, they booked us again in December 2025. For Gypsy day this year.
To move from North Canterbury to Rakaia.
1.5 days of packing their home with Team Tracie and Mandy 😊
Then loading our 36 cubic meter Truck and 12 Cubic meter Truck on Friday 29/5/26 to deliver on Monday 1/6/26.
The main house was 4 bedrooms along with 2 lounges etc , plus a single person farming accommodation loaded into our big truck.
The balance was stacked into our little truck for another farming family.
Who all work for Team Kelly 😊👍
Team Kelly were not able to move into their new home on 1/6/26 as previous farmers were still moving and they wanted to get their carpets cleaned. " Very placid and unfazed " Staying in their Motor home till then.
We were asked to to place their household into a garage until they moved in on Wednesday 3/6/26.
Team Moonies stacked neatly into the garage for Team Kelly. 🤗
The big boss "Owner of the farm" Commented to us with praise..... where does all this stuff keep coming from " Mike is a master stacker with 38 years of experience 👍😊
Very happy clients and Helene absolutely loved her gift in appreciation for supporting our small family business in her favorite colours and likes etc.🤗🌙
Team Moonies then travelled to Ashburton in our big truck to load furniture from a garage to bring back to North Canterbury for another local farmer.👍🤗

Earlier in the week on Monday 25/5/26 we also did a home removal for another repeat client Brian.
We moved Brian from North Canterbury to Wanaka, amongst other home removals and small furniture item deliveries.

Kathryn lived in her previous home for 23 years " The new owners even commented it's the cleanest home they had ever brought that they were moving into " .

This year 2025 has been a little bit quiet on our Moonies Movers page as Tracie our PR lady. All hats lady 🤣

Sadly lost her beautiful mum Lexine aged 68 RIP. After 7 years of sad illness 😭 . Along with other Tracie personal issues.🤬
Mike lost his beautiful 2nd mum Lexine too. 😭
Amongst moving ourselves " Big move " 🤣👍🌙 etc ...

When choosing a home removal company.

This past week through previous clients as we were booked. 🌙

" Had to choose other " mmm not saying companies"

" Horrific " moving stories lots of damage to " Your treasured home contents 😭 " etc 🤬

Some were mentioned as Cowboy rip offs " Completely uncool . 🤬

Or they wouldn't take items as it was not their responsibility 🤬

"ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL to us professionals in the moving industry" Cowboys suck.🤬😭

We have also been told similar stories this past week from Mike's 30 year old.

It's certainly been a working progress Journey since we bought our Moonies Movers truck on 16 Jan 2021 from John who used to own Bay Movers 😁 in Christchurch.
Mike has known John for many many years 😁👍.
We wish John all the best in his new Journey in life 😁👍.
On 14/5/24 our truck finally got it's well deserved Moonies Movers signs on the sides of our truck.🌙
Then on 18/7/24 the working progress began to revive the bumper and add a new top flashing beacon light 🚨 to go with the grill flashing lights. For safety 😁.
Our truck is definitely looking so different, since we first bought it.keep rocking for Moonies Movers, and our valued clients 🌙 😊
In the month of July our awesome team has been extremely busy with home removals. Country lifestyle,out of town to Kaikoura retirement village, and other property removals along with packing / unpacking set up jobs and exit cleaning services.
One of our big home removals was in Christchurch City centre, it was a 3 story apartment, our clients moving to a beautiful lifestyle property in the country.It took two days of packing home contents 32 hours of packing 84 boxes packed.10 hours to set up their kitchen, in their beautiful new home 🏡. Massive beautiful kitchen. 😁
Pleased to report not one breakage of packed household items.Team Mel and Tracie " You rock " 😁
It was a two day home removal for our team of 3 Mike, Matt and Mike.
You men absolutely rocked with all the heavy appliances, boxes ,industrial furniture and other household furniture you had to manovore down 2 flights of steep stairs to load into our truck.Again pleased to report " No damages " 😁👍
