An old hack but one of the best! The "haystring necklace" at the faucet. I put this around my neck when I start filling water tanks. I usually see something that needs attention and wander off but the haystring will remind me to go back and turn off the water. My sweet friend Bev Luman, an amazing writer, horsewoman and friend, shared this with me several years before she passed away in 2012. This one tip has saved me hundreds of dollars in wasted water. And it reminds me of Bev. ❤
