A day at the beach! 🏖️ - another interesting job for the team.

Carting spoil that made its way over from Kawau Island by barge, loaded into one-tonne bags before being transferred onto our truck and trailer and taken away to a cleanfill tip.

The rain over the last week has slowed down outdoor work, but it’s given us some time in the workshop to tick a few jobs off the list. Here, we’ve installed internal lashing points in one of the truck bins.

All fabrication and welding completed in-house. Next stop: certification. ☔️➡️🔧

Kicking off 2026 by looking back at 2017, and one of the biggest milestones for us.

This 2017 Fuso HD Euro 470 with an 18-speed Road Ranger was our first brand-new truck and the first to carry the Davidson name. It originally ran our old 3-axle trailer that we already had, and it marked a big step forward for the fleet. It also took out Best Japanese at the Wellsford Truck Show 2018, which made it even more special.

As the work grew, we stepped up and added our first brand-new 4-axle trailer built by Cambridge Welding. More volume, better efficiency, and a clear move into the next level of hauling and it’s still working with us today.
