Celebrating 10 years this year being a Daisy client, our darling Val and I communicate using non verbal language as she had a stroke almost 10 years ago. We got a takeaway coffee and parked the Daisy Car overlooking St Heliers Beach and out towards Rangitoto. The look of pure joy in her smile as she rested her head back on the headrest with a coffee in her hands, sun on her face and wind in her hair during her weekly Daisy Outing as we look forward to next summer only 8 months away 🚙

Let Driving Miss Daisy take you to the movies. One of my favourite clients and I enjoyed a trip to the Bridgeway Theatre for a showing of the thought provoking movie Maria, with an award winning performance from Angelia Jolie as Maria. My client, Mother Daisy and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and our outing. Margaret confessed she hadn’t been to the movies for 30 something years, she celebrated her return to the theatre with a double choc dipped ice cream.

When your client loves shopping as much as you do you go to the new outlet mall Manawa Bay. As well as her usual appointments Margaret and I are booked once a month for a ‘Daisy Outing’ of her choice, we have been everywhere and anywhere. It’s lovely to get in the car with her and make plans for her excursion, I never know where we are going until she tells me which is part of the fun
