THAI operating direct services between New Zealand and Thailand

Starting from May 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travellers entering Thailand are no longer required to endure a brief hotel quarantine and take an RT-PCR Covid-19 test upon arrival.

However, a registering for a Thailand Pass (via https://tp.consular.go.th/) with a Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination and an insurance policy with coverage no less than US$10,000 (reduced from US$20,000) are still required.

On 6 December 1987, Thai Airways opened the doors of its first ticket office in Auckland, New Zealand and our first passengers landed at Auckland Airport from Bangkok in a DC-10.
