Pretty cool to see two former Barrier Air pilots sharing the cockpit again, this time at Air New Zealand! ✈️👏

Captain Callum and First Officer Kane both spent time flying with us here at Barrier Air, so it’s awesome to see their careers come full circle and the two of them operating a flight together.

We’ll chime in with the Tauranga Aero Club Inc on this one - well done guys! We’re proud to have been part of the journey and love seeing where it’s taken you 💙

A very special flight occurred recently. Two former Tauranga Aero Club instructors, Callum and Kane, were paired up together in the cockpit of the ATR-72. Captain Callum Chuter and First Officer Kane Davis. Well done boys, we are very proud of the both of you! It is so awesome to see you out there together 😎✈️👍

🔧 Maintenance Reality: A propeller overhaul requiring replacement blades (as seen in this snippet) can now cost approximately $72,000 - just one example of what goes into keeping aircraft maintained, safe and flight-ready.
