Customs Broker / Operations

Location: Nadi, Fiji
Position: Customs Broker / Operations
We are seeking a professional, motivated, and experienced Customs Broker / Operations staff member to join our team in Nadi.

Key Requirements

▪️Experience with HS Tariff classification and the ASYCUDA system, including Customs Entry and Manifest.
▪️Experience handling bond transfers and coordinating Customs inspections.
▪️Good working relationships with relevant stakeholders, including FRCS, Biosecurity, Health, and other government agencies.
▪️Strong communication and coordination skills.

▪️Professional, proactive, and hands-on approach to daily operations.

▪️Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced freight and customs environment.

▪️Previous experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, or logistics will be an advantage.

Remembering Our Founder on His Birthday

Today, we remember and celebrate the life of our founder, Robert Lund, whose vision, determination, and passion helped shape what EIF International is today.

Robert began his career in the freight forwarding industry as a young man on the Auckland waterfront in the early 1960s, learning the trade from the ground up. Through decades of experience, leadership, and innovation, he became Managing Director of BAX Global New Zealand, building a reputation for professionalism, strong customer relationships, and a people-first approach to business.

After an early retirement found him drawn back to the industry he loved, Robert established the international freight forwarding division of EIF International alongside his daughter, Ann-Maree Lund. His vision was simple: provide exceptional service, build lasting relationships, and always put people first.

Not long after, daughter Joanne Lund established the warehousing and 3PL division, expanding the business and helping transform EIF International into the company it is today.

The values Robert lived by continue to guide us. As he once said:
"We value systems, but in the end it's our people, not our planes, that deliver."

Today, EIF International operates across five branches with a team of more than 70 staff, led by Ann-Maree and Joanne, with the third generation now represented by granddaughter Tayla Lund. We are proud to continue the legacy he created and grateful for the foundations he built.

Happy Birthday, Robert. Your vision lives on in every shipment, every customer relationship, and every member of the EIF family.
