Celebrating 20 years in 2021, the company continues to offer our customers a premium service. Refrigafreighters is one of the New Zealand’s leading carriers of chilled and frozen goods in the Transport sector. The business was established in 2001 with 1 truck and 1 driver delivering carcass meat around the north. Today 130 units make up the fleet, covering from the top of the North, to the bottom

of the South. Through steady business growth and acquisitions Refrigafreighters has fast become one of New Zealand's top freighting companies and remains 100% New Zealand owned. Our secrets to success are no secret – our owners and staff all work hard to maintain a hands-on relationship with all our clients, we aim for the highest standards of specialised equipment, labour, and service, we adapt to changing requirements as the industry evolves. Our online freight management system allows ease of data to be uploaded, allocated and delivered giving clear, concise, and accurate PODs to our clients. A new chapter for RF in Auckland.

Our new purpose-built temperature-controlled facility at Kirkbride Road, Māngere is nearing completion. Designed around the needs of modern chilled and frozen supply chains, the facility brings together Transport and 3PL capability in one purpose-built Auckland hub.

It represents a significant investment in RF’s national network and gives the business greater capability to support our customers as they grow.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll share more of the facility, the technology behind it and the team bringing it to life.
