We are looking for a enthusiastic and professional individual with a current NZ Class 2 licence to join our crew

🌟 ABOUT US:
Kesla Transport Ltd specialise in the safe and timely delivery of commercial goods such as kitchen cabinetry, office furniture, new furniture, and fragile goods. We manually load and unload our trucks, and we place items on site ready for placement and install.

Based in Massey, West Auckland, our operations extend across Auckland and occasionally across the North Island.

💼 WHAT WE NEED:
We're seeking a fit and strong individual who holds a current NZ Class 2 Licence. You will drive one of our trucks with a team of 2-3 offsiders (depending on size of job). You'll be loading/unloading deliveries, including the careful placement of goods on site.

We need individuals who are not just presentable and reliable, but who bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to the table. Punctuality, adaptability, and a willingness to learn are essential. Experience in driving/removal/labour work is a plus.

⏰ Flexible Hours, Exciting Opportunities:
We are offering flexible working hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday work, with potential for a full-time position for standout candidates.

Start times will always be first thing in the morning, finish times are depending on work schedule for the day.

🔸 Current NZ Class 2 Licence, able to drive manual transmission
🔸 Physical fitness and strength
🔸 Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

🔸Site Safe (Foundation Passport) preferrable (as we often deliver to construction sites)

Kesla Transport is a leading commercial transport company based in Auckland. We are a small, friendly team with a combined experience in the industry of more than 30 years.

We contract to several leading businesses in the kitchen joinery and office furniture supply and fitout sectors.

Business is booming, and we’re now looking to grow our team to accommodate to extra workload!

Are you:

We have a part-time vacancy for a labourer – or what we like to call “Removalist” – to join our team, with the potential to move into full time work plus other opportunities to grow within our business.

The main duties of this role include:

• The Loading and Unloading of our trucks, from factory to delivery site

• Careful Manoeuvring of brand new, commercial goods – primarily cabinetry and office furniture

• Both manual and assisted labour (using professional moving equipment such as trolleys)

This is NOT your normal labour/moving job – we handle precious cargo for our clients that needs to be handled with care and precision. We have steered away from the old school mentality of “go hard or go home” – our policy is to get the job done safely and efficiently, for yourself and the other members of the team.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

• Have a class 1 driver license (restricted minimum) – can upskill to full license for right candidate

• Have their own transportation and willingness to drive to and from work

• Be physically and mentally fit and strong

• Maintain a clean appearance

• Be able to work and communicate within a team environment

• Be available on-call 3-4 days per week, with varying hours

• Is comfortable with early morning starts, with the odd Saturday work

• Is punctual, can get themselves to work on time, and display good time management skills

• Take pride in the work that they do
