The UB Freight Group is growing, and our Sydney branch needs a hardworking, no-nonsense all-rounder to join the crew.
This role is a genuine mix of two things: time behind the wheel picking up and delivering freight around Sydney, and time in the warehouse preparing that freight to move. One day you're out on the road, the next you're packing a container or getting an air consol ready for the terminal. If you like variety and don't want to be stuck doing the same thing all day, this is for you.
We're a tight-knit team that looks after each other, does the job properly, and is expanding fast. That means real opportunity for the right person.
What you'll be doing:
🚛 Driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver freight around Sydney, safely and roadworthy
📦 Checking in freight with accurate counts, weights, condition and paperwork
🏗️ Preparing and packing freight into FAK and FCL containers safely and smartly
✈️ Building air freight consols and preparing shipments for lodgement at the terminals
📋 Preparing sea and air freight documents like bills of lading, air waybills and manifests
🤝 Coordinating with our overseas Operations team to keep Sydney jobs on track
🧹 Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
What we're after:
✅ Full working rights in Australia
✅ Full Australian Driver's Licence
✅ Forklift licence is a bonus, but if you don't have one we'll help you get it after you start
✅ A strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and someone who just gets things done
