Ben Lomond has been on top form lately!

Once you pop out above the treeline it is amazing ridgeline walking, with Lake Wakatipu spread right out below and the Remarkables and Cecil Peak sitting proudly across the water.

This walk features on day two of our five day Peaks and Lakes of Queenstown Self Guided Hike. It is a big but rewarding day, climbing steadily from the gondola to the saddle, with the option to push on to the summit if conditions and experience allow. A classic Queenstown day that finishes back in town with tired legs and a very good excuse for a waterfront dinner.
