So.. what exactly is Rae Rae’s Studio?

Quite simply.. it’s where my creative chaos lives. 😂

This page is going to be the place where I share the things I make..
From colourful beaded jewellery and macramé to painted canvases, hand-drawn prints and whatever else my creative brain decides to throw at me!

Apparently there is money in showing strangers my belly.

So far the content includes sleeping, sniffing things that aren't there, staring at Dad until he caves, and one extremely exclusive toe bean.

Apparently I'm "too much."

Interesting.

I've had people try to make me smaller, quieter and easier to deal with.

Didn't take.

I like attention. I have opinions. I know what I like and, frankly, I've spent enough time around humans to know that "you're too much" sometimes means:

**"You're not doing what I want."**

That's not my problem.

I'm a King Charles.

Being mildly unreasonable is part of the contract.

Mellow makes $0 from this page. That was kind of the point.

We don’t sell anything here. We started it because he’s loud, weird, ridiculously expressive and frankly too much personality to keep to ourselves.

So mostly, it’s Mellow being Mellow. Sometimes there’s useful dog stuff. Sometimes outdoors stuff. Sometimes absolutely nothing useful happens.

About 15 months ago, he ended up with us. We don’t know every detail of what came before, so we’re not going to invent a backstory for the internet.

He stayed. We adopted him. He’s family.

Family first. Internet dog second.

If he’s into it, great. If he isn’t, the camera waits. His well-being will always matter more than views, reels or algorithms.

We thought a few people might enjoy the little menace too.

Apparently quite a few of you do.

Concerning, but welcome.

I’ve investigated the humans again. Some of you are absolutely taking the p**s.

I got to help with Part 2 because apparently narcissistic as****es require a second dog.

I’m not diagnosing anyone. I’m just noticing that some people can turn being caught behaving badly into a three-hour investigation of your personality.

Remarkable little skill.

Anyway, if you know, you know.

Probably don’t send this to them. I cannot read another 14-paragraph explanation.

Apparently I’m the problem because I believe everyone should be awake when I have something important to say.

Was it important?

Not remotely.

Did everyone need to hear it?

Absolutely.

Once the household was sufficiently inconvenienced, I returned to bed because my shift was over.

Dad calls this "being an as***le."

I call it community service.

I reckon dogs know a version of you that nobody else ever gets to meet.

I don't know what you do for work.

I don't know how much money you make.

I don't care whether today was the best day you've ever had or the worst.

I just know the human who laughs when I do zoomies for absolutely no reason, tells me I'm a good boy even when I'm clearly not, and somehow always finds time for one more scratch before walking out the door.

That's my human.

That's the version of you I get to keep.

Maybe that's why we're never "just a dog."

We're the only ones who get front-row seats to the little moments you don't even realise matter... the ones that quietly become your life.

So don't stress about making every moment perfect.

Just keep showing up.

I'll take care of turning the ordinary ones into your favourites. 🐾❤️
