Are you looking for a change in career or are you looking at relocating to Ashburton?

We have an opportunity for a full-time Labourer to join our small family team.

Mid Canterbury Building Removals Limited has been operating since 2000. We relocate houses, pole sheds and any building or structure in between. We mainly operate around the middle of the South Island but do cover all the South Island.

We operate Monday to Friday.
Hours of work must be flexible due to on road time travel restrictions of our over dimensional loads.

Role involves:
- assisting with preparing buildings for transport
- assisting with pile foundation works
- Class 2 pilot duties
- assisting with maintaining plant and equipment
- driving our class 2 truck when needed

Minimum requirements:
- Full licence
- Class 2 HT licence (not essential but advantage)
- Class 2 pilot licence (not essential but an advantage)
- must have valid residency or work visa
- Good level of fitness and willingness to perform labouring tasks
- Clean driving record
- Drug & alcohol free (drug testing may be required)
- ability to work away from home when needed

Last month we celebrated 25 years of business!

The business was founded by Clancy himself back on his birthday 2000 with $300 in the bank and a wee class 2 truck off he went which is now run by Brent his son 💚

The business has come a long way since then and we wish to thank each and everyone of those who have supported and continue to support us!
