Today, on May 1st, we honor and celebrate the hardworking hands that build our communities, drive progress, and shape our nation — the workers. 💪🏽👷‍♀️👨‍🏭👩‍🌾

KarmaFlights Foundation Nepal Celebrating 10 Years of Impact

On September 15th, our 10th Anniversary was celebrated with an inspiring Annual General Meeting and Social Audit Program at Hotel Pauwa, Lakeside Pokhara. Many high-profile individuals joined, including the Honorable Gandaki Province MP, Debaka Pahari, and the former MP of Bagmati Province, Ramesh Poudyal-both of whom commended our dedication to transforming remote areas through education, health, and social services.
Some of the key achievements over the last year include:

Scholarships to 450 students
Warm jackets for 2,000 children
Libraries in 10 schools
Donations of telescopes & astro camps to 11 schools
ICT labs in 3 schools

We also felicitated seven outstanding individuals for their various contributions besides donating the stretchers to help in disaster response along the Annapurna Base Camp trekking route. For this, we are extremely grateful for the support of the past ten years and look forward to continuing our services in making a difference in the most remote areas of Nepal!

Happy Naga Panchami to everyone!

Today, we celebrate and honor snakes and other poisonous creatures for their important role in our environment. Naga Panchami is a special day in Nepal and other parts of South Asia where we recognize the significance of snakes in maintaining the balance of nature.

According to Hindu mythology, during the churning of the ocean, a deadly poison emerged, and Lord Shiva saved the world by swallowing it. The snake Basuki played a key role in this event, and as a result, Lord Shiva blessed Basuki and made him an ornament around his neck.

On this day, people worship eight kinds of Nagas, including Ananta, Basuki, Takshak, Karkotak, Padma, Mahapadma, Shankhpal, and Kuli. These Nagas are believed to protect us, and by honoring them, we show our respect.

This festival reminds us of the importance of coexisting with nature and protecting these creatures who are essential to our world. Let’s take this opportunity to reflect on the harmony between humans and nature and commit to safeguarding these vital species.

Explore the Unexplored Areas of Nepal's Himalayas with Karma Treks and Adventure with Purpose!

Join us for one of the most beautiful, undiscovered Himalayan adventures. Starting from Pokhara, Journey begines from Pokhara 7-8 hour drive to Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve. From there, we trek through the stunning Phalgune Pass (3915m), offering breath-taking views of the Mt. Dhaulagiri range and captivating landscapes.
Our journey continues to the remote Maikot village, before heading to the majestic Jang La Pass (4535m), passing through some of the most picturesque spots. We conclude our adventure at Tarakot village, where trekkers' dreams are fulfilled with magnificent views of the Himalayas, nature, and wildlife.
