Aircontact played a pivotal role in brokering a landmark flight operated by Norse Atlantic Airways, marking the first non-stop journey from Norway to Darwin, Australia.
The flight, chartered by Albastar S.A. and expertly facilitated by Aircontact, underscores the company's expertise in arranging complex, long-distance air travel.

This historic flight, a significant achievement for both Aircontact and Norse Atlantic Airways, showcases the capabilities of the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. The aircraft took off from Oslo Gardermoen Airport at 06:30 AM on Saturday, August 3rd, and landed at Darwin International Airport at 06:00 AM on Sunday, August 4th. The journey covered approximately 14,730 kilometers in 16.5 hours, demonstrating the long-range performance and efficiency of the aircraft.

In the previous year, Aircontact was also the responsible broker for another remarkable achievement by Norse Atlantic Airways—the first landing of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on a 'blue ice runway' at Troll Airfield, Antarctica, for the Norwegian Polar Institute.

"The Government of Greece signed a Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) today, officially announcing its intent to procure 35 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters.

The UH-60M/S-70M Black Hawk is the aircraft of choice for replacing legacy medium-lift utility helicopter fleets, with flexibility to conduct a variety of missions at greater ranges and in the most challenging environments, and with increased survivability over other aircraft."

Croatia announced March 2024 it will increase their UH-60M Black Hawk fleet from 4 to 12 helicopters joining European countries Sweden (15), Slovakia (9), Poland (​​8​), Lithuania (4), Latvia (4), Romania (12) and Austria (12) as trusted users of the Black Hawk, in addition to another 26 countries that currently operates more than 3,000 Black Hawk helicopters in different versions globally.

In January 2023 Sikorsky manufactured the 5,000th Black Hawk and production is ongoing with force.

Eight new aircraft will bring Zagreb's Black Hawk fleet to 12.

Australia on Jan 18, 2023 ordered 40 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters to replace their retired Taipan fleet. The first two aircraft were delivered as soon as on July 30 and the third on August 4. Australia expects to take delivery of another 9 helicopters in 2024. The accelerated delivery is made possible because the US Army is able and willing to reprioritize their own orders.

Congratulations to Greece for becoming the newest member in the MH-60R Seahawk family. Although Greece has operated the legacy Seahawk for decades the delivery of three MH-60R Seahawk marks the addition of Greece to current users US Navy, Australia, India, Denmark and Saudi Arabia for the newest model in the Seahawk family. In addition South Korea, Spain and Norway has signed contracts for new Seahawks.

Greece on March 20, 2024 received the first three of their 7 aircraft order, placed in July 2020 (4) and April 2021 (3).

More than 330 MH-60R has been delivered to date and more than 50 are on order. Sharing cockpit and dynamic components with its sibling MH-60S the total fleet of new Seahawks are closing in on 600 aircraft. Adding familiarity with the substantial UH-60M Black Hawk fleet the Seahawk represent a highly capable and low risk solution to be supported into the very distant future.

Spania valgte 8. mai 2023 å anskaffe 8 nye Seahawk MH-60R og blir med det det åttende landet som velger Seahawk som sitt nye maritime helikopter, i tillegg til USA, Danmark, Hellas, Australia, India, Sør-Korea og Saudi Arabia. Totalt er det i dag levert over 300 Seahawk MH-60R til USA alene og inngått kontraktert for ytterligere 100 til andre brukerland.

Spania skal benytte sine nye Seahawk til å erstatte sine 12 Seahawk S-70B de har operert siden 1990-tallet.
