Arctic Trip is a small family company providing northern lights tours and customized tours from one to several days in Troms area. Tours are all-inclusive and can include various activities, like ice fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, and sleeping in a tent or a transparent cabin. One to several days sightseeing tours with main focus on photography are also possible. We can also organise summer activities on request. We are focusing on small groups up to 12 person.

Arctic Adventure in tamokvalley 100 minutes drive from Tromsø where you can try snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, sledding,sleeping in a lavvu or tent with a woodburning stove,make campfire, try icefishing, watching the northern lights when it is good conditions and enjoy silence. We fish and hunt and we also pick berries,mushroom and plants in the forest. So it is possible to taste local food.
In our area we have seen tracks after deer,moose,arctic hare,red fox,squirrels and marten.
Nearby it has been wolverine, lynx,brownbear,otter,mink,stout,arctic fox and reindeer.
2 km to the nearest neighbour.
These pictures are only 500 meter from our house.
We can accommodate up to 16 people a group of friends,a family or just a couple .

Experience a serene snowshoe adventure in the beautiful Tamok Valley. Wander through quiet winter landscapes where the only sound is the crunch of snow beneath your feet. Along the riverbank, we take time to build a cozy fire and enjoy something warm to eat and drink.

For those who want a deeper connection with nature, there is also the option to spend the night in a tent. And if you’re lucky, the northern lights might dance across the night sky above you.

The valley is rich with wildlife. We often see tracks from red fox, hare, and moose. Other animals that have been observed in the area include lynx, wolverine, roe deer, bear, mink, stoat, and reindeer.

Icefishing and hunting is also possible

Surrounded by mountains and a river nearby where you can catch trout in summertime.
There are lakes nearby where you can catch arctic char and trout. During the winterseason you can do the following:
Skiing,sledding, snowshoeing,snowmobiling, making snowcave, making campfire,sleeping in the wilderness,icefishing and hunting(until 15th of march)
No streetlights so it is a great place for northern lights if it is clear sky and northern lights activity.
We only do private customized tours.
