Kvaløya is an island that most people skip, but it is absolutely worth it. When you enter the bridge to the island you’ll see a sign saying “area of reindeer husbandry”, which means there will be a lot of reindeer everywhere.

Also the city Hammerfest is really worth a visit and keep watching the water around you, because there is a lot of wildlife there as well.

This is probably one of the nicest places we have visited in Finnmark. We also want to thank the people on the boat tour who made us fall in love with the puffins and eagles.

Everybody talks about Lofoten, but Finnmark totally surprised us. Beautiful coastlines, picturesque villages and a lot of wildlife.

Northern Norway feels like the end of the world 🇳🇴

We’ve been driving through Arctic landscapes, over roads with almost no cars around us (which feels crazy coming from the Netherlands), visiting tiny fishing villages and seeing some of the most insane coastlines we’ve ever seen.

We’ve only been here for a couple of weeks, but we already can’t wait to explore more of Norway over the next few months.

Would you travel here? 🌍

This has to be one of the most surreal places we have visited since we started traveling.

Located on what feels like the end of the world we found Hamningberg, a place with mostly abandoned fisherman’s houses.

It takes a long drive across a tight road, but for us it was totally worth it.

Sweden has stolen our hearts in the last couple of weeks…
