ANNOUNCEMENT

We are very pleased to inform that today MMRED have taken over M/V "JULIE" (Ex. Gures).

The vessel is 7.900dwt built at Bodewes, NL in 2003 and sister vessel to M/V "EDMY".

M/V "JULIE" will remain on T/C to sellers until May 2023, then being converted to a self-discharger and join the Varnes fleet of operation.

A warm welcome to the vessel and its crew!

We are proud to have been part of this project and to be working together with Van Oord and DEME responsible for all rock material transport from Norway.

We don't just dredge, we create! Besides widening and deepening the Świnoujście – Szczecin fairway in Poland, Van Oord and DEME Group vessels create two huge circular shaped islands which will serve as nature reserves. A smart and sustainable way to make good use of the dredged material. The creation of marine and land habitats will start in the next few months. 🏝️
