The vessel Roll-dock Sky recently loaded a 1950mt boiler and 350mt CO-Incinerator in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with destination Tanjung Setapa, Malaysia. The vessel is currently proceeding to Kaohsiung for the second shipment where Global Cargo Care will also attend the loading operation.

For the 3rd time this year already, Global Cargo Care travelled to Nigeria for the installation inspection of the strand jack gantry installation rotor/generator exchange tool.

This state of the art tool – invented by a Siemens engineer and designed by Enerpac, makes it possible to extract a rotor or generator completely out of a factory for maintenance works.

East Coast giant!

Last week, GTG 32 has been picked up in Norfolk. The 394mt Generator has been transferred directly from rail wagon onto a BBC vessel, which is currently heading to Antwerp (BE) to pick up his ‘brother’ GTG 31. Final destination: Beni Suef Combined Cycle Power Plant Egypt.

Global Cargo Care attended the discharge of the first 2 Gas Turbines SGT5-8000H in the port of Adabiyah – destined for one of Siemens’ recent mega project called Beni Suef. The gas turbines were transferred onto heavy-duty trucks for the last leg of their journey over land to Beni Suef.

Global Cargo Care will co-ordinate the arrival of the in total 244 heavy-lifts and take care of the discharge of the units Adabiyah/ Ain Sokhna port, route transport to site and foundation placement of the heavy-lift components in Beni Suef.
