Horse welfare talk is all over our world and on social media and we see cut throat discussions everywhere. As a full time groom I have very little spare time and all of it is spent on my own horses and competitions. And all my money too!! So when I see the climate around equestrian sport I get scared.

When we see something we disagree with or don't understand we need to think about how and if it's possible to help or change it. Not cancel people and move on to the next victim. Not attack them or drag them through dirt.

If you see me make a mistake I can promise you it's because I don't know better. I spend all these early mornings, late nights working my ass off and sacrificing social life (and more!) to take care of, treat and train my horses the best possible way I know. And when I look around to my fellow competitors I know they are doing the same. So stop the hate campaigns and help us with education and kind solutions for both humans and horses.

It's always hard to be away from Otis week after week but he must have been well behaved because Weronika and Martin spoiled him with a fancy blanket! 🥰

We fit one last polo practice in this morning to finish off the most amazing holiday! An unforgettable week with Paige has unfortunately come to an end. I can't thank Misdee and James enough for your hospitality and for everything you organised to make this a true princess experience 🤗 An extra thank you to Margarita for putting up with me... I can't wait to come back!!
