The Official Opening of the ORC Double Handed World Championship 2026 is a fact!

This week, Jachtclub Scheveningen proudly welcomes 29 top offshore sailing teams from 8 countries to Scheveningen for an exciting week of world-class double handed racing on the North Sea.
The championship started with a spectacular opening ceremony featuring KNRM rescue boat Kitty, followed by a traditional Dutch herring party on the rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor and sea.
Today the action begins with the Short Offshore Race, followed by the demanding Long Offshore Race later this week — testing skill, endurance and strategy at the highest level.

orth Sea Regatta News Flash
Preparations for the are in full swing! Over the next three days, 70 boats will undergo mandatory safety checks, carried out by a fantastic team of volunteers.
Thanks to a smart inspection app, the checks can be completed quickly and efficiently — getting all crews ready for the race ahead.

De IJspegel Academy trapt af met de Atoomcup op 21 & 22 maart – dé perfecte start van het nieuwe zeilseizoen.

Of je nu de hele winter bent doorgevaren of net weer wakker wordt uit je wintermodus… dit is hét moment om weer aan te haken.
