* ADN-B certification (ADN-C is a plus)
* Proven experience on the Rhine — at least up to Mannheim, ideally as far as Basel
* Skilled with radar and VHF radio (marifoon)
* Good command of Dutch, plus solid German or English

* A 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rotation — real balance between work and home
* Work in mineral oil tanker shipping with a professional, reliable team
