Meet Angelino, our Manager of Operations and the man responsible for keeping our production planning, team and quotations on track.

He joined Chiaradia Exhibitions at just 17 years old and has one clear goal: making it to his 50-year work anniversary. Only about 12 years to go, Angelino. No pressure. 😉

A quick catch-up with our Assistant Production Manager, Anne, who works closely with the specialists on our production floor. Together, they make sure what was planned on paper also works in practice, keeping production efficient and projects on budget.

A check-in with one of our account managers to go through a client quotation. Can we build what we've designed within budget? Is there a smarter way to do it? And are expectations aligned before we move forward?

𝟭𝟰:𝟬𝟬 – 𝟭𝟳:𝟬𝟬 | "𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗸 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸"… 💻
Which sounds considerably calmer than it actually is. Client quotations, production planning, arranging CARNETs, booking hotels, figuring out the smartest way to build a new custom element, creating build-up and tear down schedules and coordinating overseas transport… the list rarely gets shorter.

And somewhere between all of that, there is usually someone walking into his office with 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. 😉

Just another day keeping the wheels of our company turning. 💚

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺: 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗻 💚
Some people enjoy sitting still. Lynn prefers to be on the move.

As an Account Manager at Chiaradia Exhibitions, no week ever looks the same. One day she’s visiting clients, the next she’s presenting stand concepts, walking exhibition floors, or attending networking events. That variety is exactly what she loves about her role.

Lynn started her journey at Chiaradia as a Project Manager. While she gained valuable experience in that position, she soon discovered that the more strategic and relationship-driven side of the process: building long-term client relationships, thinking along from the very first ideas, and helping translate those ideas into strong exhibition concepts suited her even better. Moving into account management felt like a natural next step and a role in which she could truly use her energy and enthusiasm.

That energy doesn’t stop when the workday ends. In her free time, Lynn loves travelling and exploring new places. From backpacking adventures to city trips and relaxing holidays abroad, she is always looking for new experiences. And after a day at the office, she can often be found in the gym or on the tennis court, finding the perfect way to stay active and recharge.

Maybe that’s why this role fits her so well. It’s dynamic, people-focused, and constantly changing. Different clients, different industries, different challenges, and always new people to meet along the way.

Exactly the kind of environment where she feels at home. 🚗🤝

𝟮𝟱 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟰 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀
There are busy weeks… and then there are BUSY weeks. 😉
The past two weeks definitely belonged in the second category.

In just 14 days, we successfully delivered 25 exhibition stands across 11 exhibitions, in 6 countries on 2 continents. 🌍

While visitors see the finished result, there’s an incredible amount of work happening behind the scenes.

Months before the first truck leaves our warehouse, we're already mapping which clients will be attending which exhibitions, planning production schedules, chasing clients for graphic files and ordering CARNETs. Especially exhibitions in London come quite a bit of red tape these days 📝.

Then come the weeks right before the exhibitions, when every day looks different. Picking up client materials, border control on site to check the paperwork, final client meetings, making sure everybody has their ETAs and visas in order ... We like to call it organized chaos😜

And once the first exhibition build begins, it's all hands on deck. Our account managers (Mike, Lynn, Carmen and Oscar) travel around ensuring our clients get a personal booth handover and providing any last minute support, our project managers (Nane and Alexandra) are on stand-by almost 24/7 to help organize additional support from our head office and our production crew .... well let's just say you will not find many of them at our production facilities

Months of preparation, countless meetings, detailed planning, design, engineering, production, logistics, transport, and on-site installation all come together in a matter of days and to say we are proud of our team is an understatement.

A huge thank you to our amazing team, partners, and clients for making weeks like these possible.
Now... we simply do it again in a few weeks 💚

𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻. 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱. 🏕️
But before you can experience them, someone has to build them. 😉

From an empty exhibition floor to a 𝟯𝟯𝟲 𝗺² 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf. The build-up clip (see comments) gives you a little glimpse of what happens behind the scenes before the doors open.

Once finished, visitors could sit down, step inside and truly experience Westfield's camping equipment, from their chairs and tents to the new adVANture collection.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦? The booth was divided over two separate areas, with a public walkway running straight through the middle. Matching overhead and side banners connected the spaces, while stepping stones quite literally guided visitors from one side to the other.
Each side showcased a different product range, but together they still needed to feel like one Westfield experience. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵? A booth that's perhaps a little difficult to capture in one photo, but great to experience in person. For a moment, you might just forget you're inside an exhibition hall in Düsseldorf. 😉🏕️

𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 – 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝗺 💚
Talk about commitment! For 40 years, Peter Dam has been part of Chiaradia Exhibitions. He has seen the company through many changes and challenges and, of course, plenty of highlights.

You might think that after 40 years, someone would start taking things a little easier, but nothing could be further from the truth. Peter still works as hard as the day he started. Perhaps even harder, because with age comes wisdom. 😉

Over the years, Peter has become one of the most trusted and experienced members of our team, while always being up for a good laugh. In fact, we can probably count the number of times we've seen Peter in a bad mood on one hand. Pretty impressive after 40 years!

He has travelled the world with us, building exhibition stands in all kinds of places. As one of our painters and exhibition builders, Peter has often been responsible for those all-important finishing touches, quite literally painting the world in all kinds of brand colours. 🎨🌍

And the travelling doesn't stop when work does. Together with his wife, Peter has explored plenty of the world outside of exhibition halls too. Closer to home, during the summer months you'll regularly see him arriving at work on his racing bike. 🚴 It was only fitting that we made him a custom made cycling shirt commemorating this occasion!

Years ago, when Oscar Chiaradia was still at the helm of the company, our slogan was “𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿.”

Well, after 40 years, we think Peter deserves an Oscar too.

So Peter, we're officially awarding you the Oscar for 𝟰𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘀. 🏆

𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 ⁠🔎💚
This year Synchropack decided to go all out at the Interpack because they were showcasing new machinery. During the briefing it became clear they wanted a very visual booth, showcasing their brand while keeping the space open enough to keep the focus on the new machines.

Our designers came up with the idea to use their logo as the eye-catcher, enlarge it (by a lot 🤪⁠) and hang it in the air! Ensuring the brand is embodied at every level of the booth. This eye-catcher was custom build to ensure it matches the logo perfectly.

Add a LED strip in the flooring to subtly enclose the machines, create additional custom displays and incorporate a large LED wall. Not a bad way to showcase your brand if you ask us ⁠☺️

𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽
Behind every successful project is a project manager making sure everything runs smoothly. Today, we’re following Nane, who has joined Chiaradia Exhibitions last year and is already fully embedded in the team. 💚

Once a project is confirmed, the project manager becomes the customer’s main point of contact and keeps everything on track behind the scenes. From design and production to purchasing, planning, and preparation. Graphics? Checked. Customer materials? Checked. Planning? Checked again. Tiny details that nobody notices unless they go wrong? Definitely checked.

And even when the stand is fully built, Nane is still there on the exhibition floor for the final checks before the customer arrives.

A true connector between departments, people, and ideas and an essential part of turning ideas into reality. The kind of role that quietly keeps everything running smoothly, usually with about twelve tabs open in her head 😉.

𝗔 𝟰𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗴 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘆𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 📏👜
At Euroshop Tarkett wanted architects to learn that their flooring products are specialized and suited for retail interiors. What better way to catch the eye than to combine a blown up lady handbag with flooring product.

The oversized bag was constructed in our workshop by our master carpenter Patrick Smeets. The wood contruction of the handbag has a platform for customers to sit on as a unique photo opportunity. Since our offices are above the production facilities, and have windows, we saw the bag construction getting taller and taller every day and when it was transported you could see a handle seemingly move on its own through the facilities. Obviously the entire office then crowds around the windows to see the masterpiece 👀

After it was constructed 2 team members from the Tarkett floorinstallers team came to our workshop and covered the entire bag in Tarkett materials, turning the bag into a true brand object instead of just a decorative element. Perfect collaboration between us and the customer, creating a new creative way to display flooring material 🤝

The measuring tape table had its own journey, using custom stickers on Tarkett’s yellow flooring product that ensure it really looks like a huge measuring tape instead of a wooden table. Multiple test prints to decide the best colour, creating a smooth curve for the end and adding the special metal clip to truly finish it off!

For us, this is what we love and what we do best. Not just producing walls, floors and furniture, but translating a brand into physical details that visitors instantly understand. After all, our slogan is bring your brand to life 💚

At Chiaradia Exhibitions, we don’t just focus on what we build, but also on how we build it. ⚡🌱

From working with renewable materials and recycling wherever possible to designing modular stands that can be reused for multiple projects. Sustainability is becoming a bigger part of the way we work every day.

And it doesn’t stop at our booths. We’re also making our office and production facilities more sustainable. We are changing out our vehicles for electric where possible; we now have an electric side -loader and forklift in addition to supplying our account managers with electric vehicles as well. The entire warehouse roof is covered with 205 solar panels, and heat-resistant window film helps keep our building cool during warmer days.

Less energy waste, less need for air conditioning, and thanks to our solar panels, we’re well on our way to becoming fully self-sufficient in energy 💚
