Mijnders transport was founded back in 1938 and has been an expert in transport ever since. The company operates on national and international basis. The most important markets are located in the BeNeLux, Germany and France. Operating with approximately one hundred trucks makes them part of the medium sized transportation companies. The core business is the transportation of tank containers which

can contain hazardous or non-hazardous goods. Besides the tanks Mijnders is also very competent in handling the regular box containers. They both can demand heating or refrigerating during the trip to keep the products in the best condition. This is of course no problem as the vehicles are equipped with a genset unit. Mijnders has its own courier and express service. The express service is clearly living up its name. Within four hours after the pickup the package will be at its destination in Holland. Besides the express service they are also very experienced at the courier part. Packages from all sizes and weights which fit in the van can be shipped using this service. Our drivers are the very best in the industry, and we're proud to honor them throughout the year. We'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to professional drivers everywhere for all you do to keep our country moving. We truly appreciate you! Last but not least Mijnders offers storage and transhipment facilities in its own warehouse. As you might expect, the service contains the temporary storage, transhipments, pallet rental and distributing partial loads. The sort of loading does not really matter, it fits us all. These facilities are one of the indispensable services related to logistics and therefore available at Mijnders Transport.

🚛 30 new trucks: investing in the future of transport

J.L. Mijnders Transport is adding 30 new Volvo FH Aero trucks to its fleet. With this investment, we are strengthening and renewing our fleet, partly in preparation for the upcoming truck toll implementation.

The vehicles will be deployed for our ADR and non-ADR transport operations across Europe, supporting both our Dutch and German operations.

🤝 In cooperation with Bluekens Truck and Bus in Middelharnis, who also invited us to visit the Volvo factory in Ghent, where we had the opportunity to experience the production process up close.

With this step, we continue to build a modern and future-oriented transport company.

Met verdriet hebben wij kennisgenomen van het overlijden van onze gepensioneerde chauffeur Dave (David) Polderman.

David ging na 40 jaar trouwe dienst met pensioen, zonder ooit schade te hebben gereden. Velen kenden hem van de ritten naar Denemarken: met groente naar Århus en via Padborg vis laden voor Breskens. Altijd onderweg, altijd door. In latere jaren reed hij nog enkele jaren met tankcontainers.

David was een rustige man; een chauffeur die aan een paar woorden genoeg had en zijn werk altijd kalm, betrouwbaar en professioneel deed.

Wij zullen hem herinneren als een vakman en een trouwe collega.

Wij wensen zijn familie en naasten veel sterkte met dit verlies. 🕊️

MELISSANT JO19-1 IN HET NIEUW GESTOKEN

Het JO19-1 elftal van v.v. Melissant is dit seizoen 2024/2025 in een compleet nieuw tenue gestoken, mogelijk gemaakt door de sponsoren J.L. Mijnders, Golfbaan Catharinenburg en Tieleman Keukens. Het wedstrijd tenue is geleverd door Voetbalshop.nl.
