RAISING FUNDS:
The coronavirus has surely come with its own share of advantages and disadvantages. Unlike in Europe and the rest of the world, Africa has not been spared. The virus is steadily, but surely manifesting.
Advantages: The world has surely recovered from man kind distractions, the whole world worked towards one goal, during lockdowns people became innovative.
Disadvantages: Innocent peolpe have died, seems no one will be held accounatable.
For who are we raising funds:
The vulnerable in society, the groups that are usaully negelected by most African Governments and Families because of stigma.
After donating to Cheshires Homes in Zambia, Africa Travel Stories (ATS) once again feels it's time to help fundraise for the needy, this time the funds raised will go towards the coronavirus pandemic outcry for face masks.
The funds raised will be used to buy materials needed to make the masks. The masks in Zambia and Zimbabwe will be made free of Charge. Lamoz Fashions in conjuction with ATS will give their time and talents.
The masks should and will not replace the social distancing rules that have been put in place. I know during this time, people are struggling and can't afford to donate as much as they could, but am reaching out to the rest of us. Your donations will go a long way.
Together we shall over come: Thank you, Asante sana, Mercy, Bedankt, Gracias, Vielen Dank, Wazviita, Twatotela.

Het is fantastisch om te zien dat donaties van particulieren, bedrijven en organisaties zonder winstoog… Annette Mulenga needs your support for Save our Souls

Zambia: CNN's Top 20 Travel places to visit in 2020

Jaw-dropping national parks and awe-inspiring wildlife characterize this beautiful southern African country. With more than 30% of the country's land reserved for national parks, a visit to Zambia encourages you to get up close with nature.

Take South Luangwa National Park, brimming with trees, plants and vegetation, which is home to some 60 animal species, including leopards, elephants and buffalo. Farther west, Kafue National Park, the country's largest, is a haven for flora and fauna.

The lush landscapes of Lower Zambezi National Park, on the Zimbabwe border, offer visitors awesome panoramas. The world's longest freshwater lake, Lake Tanganyika, flows partly through Zambia. Its crystal-clear waters host hundreds of species of fish.

If you want to spend your days soaking up the sun, head to Lake Kariba, Zambia's answer to the French Riviera. Set yourself up for a peaceful few days of exploring via houseboat or get settled in a self-catering villa in the picturesque town of Siavonga.

Parts of the spectacular Victoria Falls on the Zambezi are being affected by the drought that's enveloped neighboring Zimbabwe, but the waterfall's thundering cascades are still not to be missed. The waterfall offers white water rafting, zip lines and bungee jumping, while visitors can take guided tours focusing on the history of Victoria Falls bridge.
Don't miss: The sunsets -- it would be hard to not notice when vibrant hues of coppery orange and golden yellow illuminate the Zambian skies, but every time it happens, it's pretty breathtaking. --
