That doesn’t always mean the driver can see you!

A truck has significantly larger blind spots than a passenger car. Even with mirrors and cameras, there are areas around the vehicle that remain out of the driver’s view. That’s why raising awareness among children and other road users is so important.

These children received an educational road safety session from our 𝗗𝗟𝗚 driver, Dennis. After all, who better to explain what a truck driver can and cannot see than someone who is behind the wheel every day? Together, we can help make our roads safer for everyone. 💛

📅 On 10 September, it’s National Stay Out of the Blind Spot Day in the Netherlands, an initiative by Transport en Logistiek Nederland (TLN) and Veilig Verkeer Nederland (VVN). On June 13, we welcomed customers, partners and colleagues to N.T.V.V. in Nieuwe-Tonge for the annual DLG & Clients Football Tournament, and what a fantastic day it turned out to be.

That’s why we proudly participated in the Erasmus MC Foundation Charity Run, where a group of dedicated colleagues came together to walk 10 kilometers in support of the shared mission to bring a cancer-free world closer.

Our message for the day was simple yet powerful: 𝗪𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲.
Together, we turned our commitment into action and raised more than €5,195 for cancer research. 💙
Every contribution, big or small, brings a little more hope. Step by step, together.

On Goeree-Overflakkee, dozens of trucks are hitting the road for a very special reason. The annual Truckrun is once again bringing together drivers, volunteers and participants for a day full of joy, connection and unforgettable memories.

For many participants, this is the highlight of the year. For our colleagues Niels, Roel, René and Pim, it’s an opportunity to use their passion for trucking to make someone’s day extra special. We are incredibly proud to see these legends taking part in this wonderful event. 👏🏻

As the convoy makes its way across the island, supporters are lining the streets, waving, cheering and helping create an atmosphere that makes this day so special. 🤗🎺
