Confronting! The blood is still on my climbing gear. After my climbing accident, involving a zipline, I had never looked at my gear again. Once I finally found the courage to take up via ferrata again, I opened the box with heart pounding. I realized that the blood from last year is actually a beautiful symbol of the beginning of my recovery.

Via ferrata is my absolute favorite activity during my summer holidays. After my accident last year on a via ferrata route involving a zipline, I spent seven weeks in the hospital and was still in a wheelchair this past January.

Being able to climb those steel cables again, trusting my strength and mental resilience, feels incredible. I never imagined I would be able to do this again within a year.

I will always be deeply grateful for the outstanding medical care and expertise I received in both France and the Netherlands
