Looking back, Maritime Industry 2026 was a great success!

For three days, we welcomed customers, partners, industry relations and new contacts to our stand. We had valuable conversations about the future of inland shipping, showcased KEES Next Gen and celebrated our 65th anniversary together during a special networking event.

The exhibition also provided a great opportunity to meet new people, strengthen existing relationships and exchange ideas with professionals from across the maritime sector.

Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and helped make this edition such a success.

Wat kijken we terug op een geslaagde editie van Maritime Industry 2026.

Drie dagen lang mochten we klanten, relaties, partners en nieuwe contacten verwelkomen op onze stand. We voerden mooie gesprekken over de toekomst van de binnenvaart, presenteerden onder andere KEES Next Gen en vierden samen ons 65-jarig bestaan tijdens een gezellige jubileumborrel.

Daarnaast mochten we diverse bezoekers ontvangen op onze stand, nieuwe contacten leggen en bestaande relaties verder versterken. Precies waar een beurs als Maritime Industry voor bedoeld is.

Dank aan iedereen die onze stand bezocht, interesse toonde in Koedood en samen met ons deze editie tot een succes heeft gemaakt.

🇬🇧 𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆! 🚢
A new repowering project has recently started on board the MS Bon Voyage. The existing Mitsubishi S12R-MPTA and Reintjes WAF 542 gearbox are being replaced by a modern KEES Stage V solution, powered by a Mitsubishi S12A2 (727 kW / 989 hp @ 1800 rpm) combined with a Reintjes WAF 450 gearbox.

A special detail is that Koedood also supplied the original S12R installation many years ago. We are proud to once again contribute to the next chapter in the vessel's lifecycle.

We would like to thank Bonvent Shipping for their continued trust in Koedood. In a few weeks, the vessel will be fully Stage V compliant and ready for many more reliable, sustainable and safe operating hours.

🇳🇱 𝗡𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘃𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗻𝘁! 🚢
Voor de MS Bon Voyage is onlangs een nieuwe hermotorisering van start gegaan. De bestaande Mitsubishi S12R-MPTA in combinatie met een Reintjes WAF 542-keerkoppeling maakt plaats voor een moderne KEES Stage V-oplossing, aangedreven door een Mitsubishi S12A2 (727 kW / 989 pk @ 1800 rpm) in combinatie met een Reintjes WAF 450-keerkoppeling.

Bijzonder aan dit project is dat Koedood de oorspronkelijke S12R-installatie jaren geleden ook mocht leveren. Nu mogen we opnieuw bijdragen aan de volgende stap in de levenscyclus van het schip.

Wij danken Bonvent Shipping voor het opnieuw gestelde vertrouwen in Koedood. Over enkele weken is de installatie volledig Stage V uitgevoerd en klaar voor vele betrouwbare, duurzame en veilige vaaruren.

The final day of Maritime Industry 2026 has started.

Yesterday, we had a successful anniversary networking event at our stand, celebrating 65 years of Koedood together with customers, partners and industry colleagues. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it such a memorable afternoon.

Gisteren kijken we terug op een geslaagde jubileumborrel, waarbij we samen met klanten, relaties en branchegenoten het 65-jarig bestaan van Koedood mochten vieren. Dank aan iedereen die aanwezig was en heeft bijgedragen aan deze mooie middag.

🇬🇧 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 🔧
Last month, the repowering project of the Lavoro was successfully completed. The new propulsion installation passed its sea trial with flying colours and, thanks to its Stage V configuration, is fully ready for many more sustainable, reliable and safe operating hours.

The vessel has been equipped with a Scania DC16 (515 kW / 700 hp @ 1800 rpm) combined with a Masson W3100 gearbox, fully compliant with Stage V emission requirements.

We would like to thank the Versluys family for their trust in Koedood and wish them many enjoyable hours on the water with their renewed propulsion system. And who knows, perhaps our technicians have inspired the youngest family member to pursue a future in engineering.

De hermotorisering van de Lavoro kwam afgelopen maand succesvol tot een einde. De nieuwe aandrijfinstallatie doorstond de proefvaart met vlag en wimpel en is met haar Stage V-uitvoering weer helemaal klaar voor vele duurzame, betrouwbare en veilige vaaruren.

Aan boord is een Scania DC16 (515 kW / 700 pk @ 1800 rpm) in combinatie met een Masson W3100-keerkoppeling geïnstalleerd, volledig uitgevoerd volgens de Stage V-emissienorm.

Wij danken de familie Versluys voor het vertrouwen in Koedood en wensen hen veel vaarplezier met hun vernieuwde installatie. En wie weet hebben onze monteurs tijdens het project ook het jongste familielid kunnen inspireren voor een toekomst in de techniek.

The first day of Maritime Industry 2026 is behind us, and what a successful start it has been. It was great to welcome so many customers, partners and visitors to our stand.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Member of the European Parliament Jeannette Baljeu, Deputy of the Province of South Holland Arne Weverling, Mayor of Gorinchem Reinie Melissant-Briene and Alderman of Dordrecht Maarten Burggraaf. It was a great opportunity to showcase Koedood, KEES Next Gen, our engines and innovative solutions for the maritime industry.

Tomorrow, we look forward to welcoming visitors again. And don't forget to join us for our anniversary networking drinks from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where we will celebrate 65 years of Koedood during this special edition of Maritime Industry.

Een mooie gelegenheid om meer te vertellen over Koedood, KEES Next Gen, onze motoren en innovatieve oplossingen voor de maritieme sector.

As we wrap up another successful month, many of our colleagues have been active both nationally and internationally. From workshop overhauls to service and installation projects on board, once again, we look back on a month full of great projects and satisfied customers.

Today, the first colleagues are already headed out again for new waterfront projects. Because in the maritime industry, technology never stands still.

Following the successful deliveries of among other RP Essen en RP Duisburg, the next vessel in the series has now also entered service: the RP Köln.

Koedood once again supplied the complete propulsion installations for this vessel. On board are two KEES solutions, powered by Mitsubishi S6R-MPTAW engines (520 kW / 707 hp @ 1650 rpm), combined with Masson MM W4250 gearboxes.

We would like to thank Asto Shipyard and Plouvier Group for their continued trust in Koedood and wish the crew many safe and reliable operating hours.

Recently, we once again delivered a great order to Scheepswerf Po**en. A double truckload of generator sets departed for the newbuilding vessel Kompass, a river hopper.

The delivery includes:
▪️ 2x Scania / Stamford generator set DC13-320A - 311 kW @ 1500 rpm
▪️ 2x Scania / Stamford generator set DC16-320A - 439 kW @ 1500 rpm
▪️ 1x JCB 448-TGWWA-60 - 60 kVA / 56 kW @ 1500 rpm

The Scania generator sets were supplied in collaboration with ScanDiesel GmbH and De Ruyter Dieseltechniek.

Onlangs mochten wij opnieuw een mooie order uitleveren aan Scheepswerf Po**en. Een dubbele wagen vol generatorsets vertrok richting de werf voor het nieuwbouwschip Kompass, een rivier hopper.

De levering bestaat uit:
▪️ 2x Scania / Stamford generatorset DC13-320A - 311 kW @ 1500 rpm
▪️ 2x Scania / Stamford generatorset DC16-320A - 439 kW @ 1500 rpm
▪️ 1x JCB 448-TGWWA-60 - 60 kVA / 56 kW @ 1500 rpm

Last week, the Spes Salutis departed following a thorough and extensive overhaul of her Mitsubishi S16R engine.

After many operating hours, the engine was ready for overhaul. We provided:
▪️ Complete removal and reinstallation of engine and gearbox
▪️ Full overhaul of both engine and gearbox according to specification
▪️ Renewal and modernization of the alarm system, auxiliary systems and control cabinet
▪️ Commissioning and balancing of the installation
▪️ A successful sea trial according to specification
▪️ Alignment of engine and gearbox by EMHA, including newly installed foundation rubbers
▪️ The gearbox overhaul was carried out by Reintjes.

Many thanks to Martijn and Jorian Verboom for their trust in Koedood. We wish the Spes Salutis many more safe and reliable operating hours.

Afgelopen week vertrok de Spes Salutis na een grondige en uitgebreide revisie van haar Mitsubishi S16R.

Na een mooi aantal draaiuren was de motor toe aan revisie. Wij verzorgden:
▪️ Volledige uit- en inbouw van motor en keerkoppeling
▪️ Complete revisie van motor en keerkoppeling volgens specificatie
▪️ Vernieuwing en modernisering van alarmeringssysteem, randsystemen en schakelkast
▪️ Inbedrijfstelling en balanceren van de installatie
▪️ Een succesvolle proefvaart volgens specificatie
