In September 2023, we opened our new Gerstdijk warehouse facility in Helmond. In January 2025, our state-of-the-art pocket sorter went live, and we are now completing a further floor expansion and key installations, making our operations even more future-proof. These investments set a new standard in efficient and flexible fashion fulfilment, helping fashion brands serve their customers anytime, anywhere, seamlessly.

Twice a year, we select the best idea, and this time, Karina Petersen's idea has been chosen as the winner!

Karina suggested that instead of throwing away empty toner cartridges, we should collect them in a box. These can then be handed over to the Animal Ambulance, who generates income from them. This way, we help the environment while supporting a great cause!

After 17 great years at Modexpress, our colleague Henrie retired last Monday. Last Friday was his final working day and marked the end of a long and special time with us. Henrie started at Modexpress as a logistics employee and later grew into the role of Team Leader of the Expedition Department.

His official retirement will start in six months, but because he had saved up many working hours over the years, he was able to stop earlier. Something he truly deserved! We celebrated this special moment together with him last Friday.

We would like to thank Henrie for his hard work, dedication, and everything he has done for Modexpress over the past 17 years. We will miss him a lot, but we hope he will really enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

Henrie, thank you and enjoy your retirement! And hopefully, we will see you around from time to time 😊
