The best way to see and feel Amsterdam is from the canals, so with great pleasure I welcome you to my cozy houseboat! It is in front of the Zoo, so you will awake with the sounds of Africa! My houseboat is just about 15 minutes walk from the Central Station. The buzzing 'Nieuwmarkt' and the great Royal Palace on Dam Square, 15/20 min. Situated in the centre, you'll enjoy the canal boats passing by

. The kitchen is fully equipped with:
- Cooker
- Fridge
- Oven
- Microwave
- Dishwasher
- Tea and coffee machine
- Bedlinen and towels
- T.V. and stereo
- Wifi
- Central heating
- Bathroom with bath and shower

Outside on the balcony you can sit and enjoy life on the water! In the morning I will make a great breakfast to give you a good start to the day. The neighbourhood:

Nearby you will find;
• Public transport train/tram/subway
• Two supermarkets within 500 metres
• The Jewish Historical Museum is 5 min. walk
• The famous "Waterloo" Flea Market is 10 min. walk
• The Opera / Ballet (Stopera) is 10 min. walk
• Restaurants, bars and shops within a short walking distance.
• Flowermarket and Rembrandt Square are within an approximate 10/15 min walk
• Hermitage Museum 10 minutes walk.
• Rijksmuseum 30 minutes walk. Within walking distance you will find everything Amsterdam has to offer; the hip and buzzing city centre. The 'Nieuwmarkt' is one of Amsterdam's most charming squares with dozens of cool little cocktail bars and restaurants. There is a daily market on the square, as well as an organic food market on Saturdays and a market for antiques and books on Sundays. How to come.. If you are coming by plane to Schiphol Airport take the train to the centre of Amsterdam. It's cheaper and faster than a taxi. From Amsterdam Central Station it is about 15 minute walk to the houseboat. You can also take tram 9 or 14 to Artis. There is a parking for one car for €10,= p/day

House rules
Note: the accommodation is listed as a private room, what means that you can stay in a bedroom with a double bed. Please be advised that I will share my home with my guests, what means that I'm staying in my houseboat during your stay here. You will have full, shared access to all the amenities listed above. No smoking, and no drugs. It's not allowed to bring people from outside during your stay.
