I’m not talking about the details of how many people are going and why you want to go. Those are helpful but the details that make the trip? They’re the things that to you are just a passing thing - but they end up becoming this centering moment of your whole trip.

I finalized a trip this week for 2 clients who are getting to experience Mexico City - not just visit it. During our consultation I asked them ā€œBut how do you connect with a place when it’s new to you? What is that one thing that just makes you feel like you’ve really experienced it?ā€ Their answer was simple - food. No brainer - we set them up with a cooking class in a local’s home, who returned back to Mexico City after years of traveling abroad with her husband who was a diplomatic representative. That passing detail though that I knew we had to work in? They kicked themselves for not doing a street art tour in Barcelona.

So I worked with my partner Journey Mexico (because when I say I have partners, I mean I have partners on the ground), and a street art tour was born. And guess what? Those two activities are two of the things they’re the most excited for.

When I say experiential travel I don’t mean this massive undertaking - I just mean that quiet way that your mind says ā€œoh wow I get it now. I get why people come hereā€ and for everyone that’s different. I’d love to help you figure out what that is for you on your next trip - and here’s a secret - it’s okay if it’s that thing that you feel is too touristy. Because I promise it’s still important.

I was at the Raleigh Women In Marketing event last night and one of the speakers said something I haven’t been able to stop thinking about.

She filmed herself making a client’s bed before they arrived and said: you’re not hiring me for the thousands of decisions I’m making. You’re hiring me because I’m making your life easier.

We think of luxury as over the top. But a massage is a luxury. A hairdresser is a luxury. It’s not about extravagance, it’s about handing something to someone who’s better at it than you so you don’t have to carry it.

Working with a travel advisor is the same thing. And most people have no idea what that actually looks like.

So I invite you to swipe through - this is what it looks like when you work with me šŸ¤Ž

If you’ve been thinking about a fall or winter trip and haven’t started planning yet, now is genuinely the time.

Here’s what I’d be looking at booking right now:

šŸ‚Fall 2026 (September–November) is hands down one of the best times to travel in Europe. Crowds thin out, the light is incredible, and you’re not sweating through cobblestone streets. Croatia is still warm enough to enjoy the coast well into October. Portugal is having a moment and fall is perfect — think Lisbon, the Douro Valley, Porto. If a multigenerational family trip or a girls’ trip has been on your list, this is the window.

🌓Winter 2026 — if your version of the holidays involves a beach, the Caribbean and Mexico are booking up fast. Turks and Caicos, St. Martin, the Riviera Maya — these fill in quickly for December and the weeks around spring break planning starts earlier than most people realize.

šŸŽ„River cruises for Christmas Markets (December in Europe) are also worth mentioning — those sailings sell out a full year or more in advance and 2026 inventory is already limited.

The common thread? Availability shrinks faster than most people expect, and the best options — the properties that actually match how you want to travel — go first.

If fall or winter travel is on your list, let’s talk. Drop a comment or send me a message and we’ll figure out where to start.

Whenever I research a destination, LGBTQ+ safety is part of my checklist, not because it’s a trend, but because it’s part of knowing a place, and I have people in my life who I want to travel safely.

There’s a difference between a destination that performs welcome and one that has actually built it into law, into culture, into the way people move through a city. These eight countries do the latter, and I wanted to put them in one place for anyone who’s asking the same questions I ask.

Swipe through, and Happy Pride to everyone celebrating this month šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ

Costa Rica didn’t just meet the hype. It completely rewired me. 🌿

I knew this destination was special but I don’t think anything fully prepares you for the moment you’re just casually walking to breakfast and there are monkeys in the trees above you like that’s completely normal - because there, it is.

The wildlife alone would have been enough but then you add the sunsets, the food, the zip lining through actual jungle, finally seeing a sloth in the wild, and I was done. Fully converted.

Being here opened my eyes to the fact that most people only visit one area of Costa Rica - but there’s a whole other world here that most haven’t even explored yet. And I cannot wait to help my clients plan for it.

If Costa Rica has been living on your list, let’s get it on the calendar. Head to the link in my bio or drop a 🦄 below and I’ll reach out!

When Two Sisters Travel became Postcard & Co., it inspired me to ask myself - what does MY new era look like, and did travel together fit that?

The answer became More Than the Postcard. šŸ¤Ž

You deserve a trip where they know your name before check-in. Where your dietary preferences are already noted. Where the guide knows your kids’ names before you even arrive at the meeting point.

We have one planet, and I truly believe even the smallest choices can move the needle on sustainable tourism - and that you can have the luxury hotel, the beautiful view, the comfy bed AND make an impact on the community you’re visiting. It’s about choices. And going just a little deeper.

You should be able to see the Eiffel Tower at night AND choose the boutique hotel down the street. You should be able to experience a country through whatever medium works for you - horseback riding, food tours, cooking classes, street art tours - whatever that looks like for your group.

To me this isn’t just a rebrand. It’s showing up for an industry that’s has been shifting to this for a while. It’s been silently making these changes, and I think it’s time we join it.

So here’s to a new name, and a new chapter for me. I’m so glad you’re here for it šŸ¤Ž

Follow along - there’s a lot more to come šŸ˜‰

You may have already seen the exciting news, but if not - allow me to introduce you to Postcard & Co. šŸ¤Ž

My host agency, Two Sisters Travel, is starting a new era with a name that matches the heart behind everything. In 2013 two sisters started a travel business that turned into this incredible space where trips aren’t just booked, they’re created.

While the name is changing, here’s what won’t be changing:

Same personalized planning. Same advisor who knows your trip inside and out. Same support from booking to landing at home.

I’m so proud and thankful to be a part of this team, and to participate in its next chapter. Welcome to Postcard & Co. šŸ„‚

I’ve planned enough Croatia trips to know that where you stay makes or breaks the experience. These four are properties I trust across the country - each with something that makes them worth knowing about. Save this if Croatia’s on your list for 2026.

Spring break is 10-12 weeks away and if you’re still figuring out where to go, I’ve got you covered.

Here’s how we’re matching you to the destination that’s going to work do you šŸ‘‡

-Want zero planning stress? Look at an All-inclusive resort in Mexico or the CaribbeanšŸ–ļø
-Want adventure + nature? Check out Costa Rica 🌓
-First Europe trip with kids? Ireland (because puffins) 🐧
-Already taken the kids to Europe and want somewhere different? Then you need to check out Croatia ā›µļø

Not sure which fits you best? That’s literally what I’m here to help with šŸ˜‰ Send me a DM or head to the link in my bio to get started
