Digital that Sparks Happiness. That’s our new motto. Our new payoff. But what does it mean?

We’ve cared since day one. Akker started with two people and a belief: digital should make life better. We wanted to combine hands-on care, curiosity, and craft. Years later we still do. Every project gets the same focus and heart we brought to our first. The team grew and we felt everyone understood the objective really well. We were just never able to put it into words. Until now.

Ultimately, life is about happiness. We want this to be our mission and our guiding principle. Whenever we design, build, create, the main question is always: does this help the end-user? Does this improve a human’s life? Does it make them happy?

And for how we run our business, these same principles apply. The end-users are just the people that work here.

Add to this that all of us live and breathe digital and there it is: Digital that Sparks Happiness. It isn’t just what we do. It’s who we are.

Every first Friday of the month, we host our “monthly,” a fun get-together where we share ideas, catch up, and enjoy some time away from work. It’s the perfect chance to bond as a team, try something new, and just have a good time together.

And of course, there’s always plenty of tasty food and drinks to go around! 🍻🍕

We’re proud to celebrate 12 years of Akker. In January 2011, our love for design and development inspired us to start our own agency. Since then, we’ve services over 100 clients, moved offices a few times and hired over 10 great people who have helped us become the agency we are today. We couldn’t have done it without the trust and support of our clients, friends, family and our amazing team. To celebrate our success, we’ve rebranded to reflect where we stand today. Here’s to the next decade. We can’t wait to create more together.
