High above the canopy, his watch never ends. His deep, echoing call is not just a sound—it is a message carried through time. The elders say it is the voice of the land itself, protecting the balance between earth, sky, and spirit.
Long before roads and cities, the Chorotega people believed he was more than an animal. He was a sentinel—warning, guiding, and reminding all who entered the forest that they were guests, not owners.
