Safety is a shared responsibility, and it starts with preparation.
Across three dedicated batches, the Emergency Response Team at WACT-APM Terminals Nigeria completed intensive fire fighting training, gaining the skills and confidence to respond swiftly and effectively in critical situations.
The training combined classroom learning with field experience, covering emergency entry techniques, victim rescue, medical evacuation, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and more.

One of the trainees, Jack Sogbeye said, ‘’ In a nutshell, this ERT fire Fighting training was matching world class firefighting equipment with world class firefighting skills and techniques, equipping emergency responders for a more coordinated, confident and less jittery emergency response.’’

"The training was impactful and transformative. It gave us the confidence to act quickly and safely. We are ready to protect our people and our operations," said Ogbole Opache Winner.

Investing in safety means investing in people and in the resilience of our operations and communities.
