A captivating tour of Islay with Whisky & Company
27th December 2025 was about being Transported to the rugged shores of the Inner Hebrides in Islay, Scotland and Blackpitts area in the Liberties, Dublin with Whisky & Company
Had an absolute blast at the whisky appreciation hangout! diving deep into the smoky world of Islay whiskies and found a few new favorites.
Nothing beats good company, great stories by Stanislavsky himself, and a glass (or two) of the world’s best peated scotch. Twas an afternoon of education, insight, and palate stimulation.
From the medicinal, sea-spray punch of Laphroaig to the refined, smoky bonfire of Lagavulin, it was a masterclass in peat and provenance.
There’s something special about sharing these "peat monsters" with a room full of people who actually get it. Whether you’re a die-hard Ardbeg fan like me, or just starting to appreciate the "smoke," Islay never fails to deliver.
The evening did not go without exploring other neighboring smoky peated malts, and we journeyed to historic Blackpitts area in the Liberties, Dublin, as Snanislavsky the whisky guy serenated our palate with this amazing Award-Wiinning Tripple Distilled Single Malt from Teeling Whiskey Distellery.
It was a “Wow!!!” afternoon, and If you haven’t joined one of these hangouts yet, you’re missing out. 10/10 experience! 👏
