One week, two worlds. Which rhythm are you flowing with?

West Africa is filled with adventures and packed experiences. It gives a whole new perspective but everyone travels differently.

On one hand, you have a canopy walk across the dense vegetation of the Kakum National park in Ghana.

And

On the other hand, you have an opportunity to journey the waters of the iconic slit village of Ganvie in Benin.

The power is in your hands. Which will you let change your perspective ?

When you book that tour, we will handle the rest but you have only one thing to handle - Backpacking.

I will give you 3 things you can add to your backpack that would aid your tour in West Africa.

1. A portable power bank
West Africa is breathtaking, but it will drain your battery fast from all the photos and navigation. A high capacity power bank ensures you don't stop capturing while the “extraordinary” moment happens.

2. A light weight scarf or cap
If you are touring West Africa, especially during the dry season. It can act as a shield against the afternoon sun.

3. Pocket sized Hand sanitizer
From purchasing items from road side stalls to navigating the busy city, your hands will be busy. Keeping things clean on the go ensures your health stays top-tiers.

Pack these things and we will handle rest. Click the link below to see what tour packages are there for you.

For history to be told, a horn is blown.

The guardians of the night called Zangbeto masquerade show themselves again, this time during the day.

This is associated with the Vodun Festival, located at Benin, where the Zangbeto masquerade uses fast spinning dancing to showcase the power of the invisible spirits.

The festival carries depth along with entertainment for those who visit as it is done annually on January 10. The festival doesn't just show the power of the invisible spirits but also explains why tradition remains a sacred act in the West African Nations.

Do you think you can stand invisible spirits ?

“A place you have never seen before"—that can be scary, but it only ends badly if you don't know basic tips on how to blend in like a local, even if you aren't one.

These are some tips that help the travelers we accompany enjoy their tours seamlessly:

Dress moderately: Flashy dressing only draws unnecessary attention. When this is reduced, the scrutiny reduces also, giving you the space to take in destinations and attractions to their full extent.

The greeting goldmine: In many West African countries, a greeting goes much further than a simple “hello.” It involves asking, “How is your morning?” and “How is your family?” This creates a good rapport between you and the locals (vendors or people who approach you) at the very first meeting.

Ask before the lens: The best pictures are those with people as the stories behind them. Before snapping a photo, a quick nod and a “May I?” goes a long way and shows respect for their environment.

Learn slang tied to the country: Slang is one of the best ways to communicate with locals. This doesn't only help increase the depth of understanding, but also creates space for laughter and connection.

In tourism, blending in like a local really makes a difference. It isn't just for the people of the country, but also for you—because you get to enjoy the true depth of a destination when locals are involved.

History isn't just told here; it is lived in the clay.

The Tata Somba is a distinct village in the north-east of Benin that houses not only families but also animals. The largest of the houses are for the animals, while the smallest are rooms for each member of the family and a granary where food is stored.

These houses aren't just shelter; they also carry stories written upon them. The designs on the houses, those lines on the walls, aren't just for show. They mirror the tribal markings of the people, identifying their clan to every passerby.

In this destination, the house doesn't just create shelter for families and animals; it holds information tied to generations.
