Council approved the recommendations of the investigative committee on the issue
Committee found instances of non-remittance, risking state revenue

Scope: Construction of 1 block of 3 classrooms each at 8 GDASSS across the state
Objective:
Address classroom overcrowding
Provide conducive learning environments
Support the 12-Point Agenda vision for Greater Jigawa
Goal: Enhance access to quality education as a driver of long-term social and economic development

Approval of Operational Guidelines for Free MNCH Services
Facilities Covered:
Primary Health Centres (PHCs)
Secondary Health Facilities
Purpose of the Guidelines:
Standardize and improve delivery of Free Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (FMNCH) services
Clarify roles and responsibilities of health personnel
Promote transparency, accountability, and quality control in healthcare
Expected Impact:
Improve efficiency and effectiveness of FMNCH programmes
Enhance access to equitable, high-quality care for women and children
Reduce maternal and child mortality rates
Implementation Plan:
To commence immediately under Ministry of Health oversight
