SURE VICTORY OVER ADVERSITIES

NATURE AND CHARACTER OF TEMPESTS

Tempests express themselves in the subversion of divine destiny. They are satanically programmed into a person’s life to shut him down. They cause maximum devastation in the shortest time. Such devastations express themselves in decline in physical health, mental health, spiritual health, business performance, professional attainment, family cohesion, social status etc.
Satan’s grand plan concerning a Christian is to steal or win him to his side. If he can’t take him to his side; he tries to destroy or kill him. Jesus Christ put it this way: “The thief (devil) cometh not but for to steal, and to kill or to destroy” (John10:10). This implies that any challenge that diminishes our faith intends to continue to diminish us to the point where we will not have faith in God, and turn away from Him.
Our enemies build their strength around our challenges and they work consistently to diminish our strength. As Christians, holiness and faith are our strongest weapons. No matter where our adversaries appear to be directing their attack, their main object of attack is our Faith (our confidence in God) and our holiness.

THE CASE OF JOSEPH

God had given a prophetic summary of Joseph’s life in Genesis 49:22–26. “Joseph is a fruitful bough even a fruitful bough by a well: whose branches run over the wall: The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him. But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob: (from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel) even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee: and by the almighty who shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breast, and of the womb: The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.” In paraphrase, there was a very high wall, which signifies very difficult challenges, which Joseph needed to overcome or would otherwise obscure him forever. He was sold by his own brothers. Even though they could not silence him as they had desired, they caused him much anguish and devastation for many years as a slave and as a prisoner. He prevailed because he held on to righteousness, and would not even surrender to the seemingly attractive demands on him by Potiphar’s wife. He had chosen to be upright, no matter what. Therefore, God rescued him from his adversities, blessed him above all his progenitors, and glorified him before the whole Egypt. God hates the subversion of destinies. God’s position is highlighted in lamentation 3:35-36. “To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most high, to subvert a man in his cause the lord
approveth not”. Every adversity has an expiry date.

ASSURANCE OF REPOSITIONING

God’s plan for you is better than the path you have chosen. Return to God through Jesus Christ his son, and let God, your father reposition you. For those who are already walking with God, I assure you that you will not miss your sure reward. God says he has kept something special for you which no human eyes have seen, and no human thought has conceived. Your blessing is already waiting. Keep loving God, keep serving him, keep loving righteousness and hating wickedness. Your destiny is honorable and enviable. God bless you.
Some of us have suffered adversities and plagues because we cooperated with the devil when he came attacking. We walked contrary to God. We chose our own ways and followed paths which are ungodly. We have been trying to help ourselves in the wrong ways. God says in Jeremiah 3:12 “Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the lord: and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the lord, and I will not keep anger for ever”. God never leave us. We are the ones who leave him. Jesus is calling: Matthew 11:28 says “come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest; rest from sickness, diseases, poverty, shame, reproach, madness, alcoholism, robbery, imprisonment: rest from every satanic bo***ge. If God gave king Nebuchadnezzar rest, why will he not give you rest if you repent. Repent now and accept Jesus Christ as your saviour.

Do Not Surrender (to the wicked one):
Your Help is Near.
To all my friends on Facebook, Isaiah 54:11-12 says “O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, I will lay thy stones with fair colors, and lay thy foundation with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.”

Now to paraphrase Isaiah 54:11-12, God insinuates that you have not only been grievously afflicted, you also feel like tossed with a tempest. It’s like you are drowning in uncontrollable flood water. You are alone, and everything you would have held on to appears to have disappeared. Now it is all darkness. You cannot think of a rescue under any situation. God says he is mindful of your circumstances and situation. He says: DO NOT LET go of your confidence. He will rescue you in style. He will still the storm, and move you into a cruise ship, turn the whole nightmare into an experience you will be glad about. He is bringing your way quality that can only be compared with a mansion built with assorted grades of precious stones – agates, carbuncles, sapphires, pleasant stones, etc. only do not let the desperation of the moment set you against him. ll Thess. 2:7 says “ONLY HE WHO NOW LETTETH WILL LET UNTIL HE BE TAKEN OUT OF THE WAY” therefore, God says DO NOT LET your situation take you away from Him. Rather resist the devil steadfastly and you will prevail. Remember, he did it for Joseph; for Daniel; for Mordecai.
All of heaven’s resources are behind you to help you overcome the challenges the wicked devil has been posing. You have a mandate to overcome all the challenges you face now because your God is called the Almighty. What you do to remain saved is that you consciously receive Jesus as your Lord and savior. Then depart from iniquity under every guise it manifests before you. “Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity”.

Pray, and ask God to deliver you from your tempest. Do not attempt to be vengeful on those who set you on course for the tempest, lest you surrender your victory to the wicked. The next thing we should do is set our love upon God. God says “because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high because he has known my name. He shall call on me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation” (ps. 91:14-16).
Dear friend, you are the one God has been speaking to. Do not let, Do not cave in, Do not surrender. JEHOVAH will surely send you help. God bless you richly. Amen.

LET GOD CHANGE YOUR SITUATION
I am glad to bring this word of assurance to you that no matter how bad our situations and offences may be, God is always waiting to forgive in mercy, and turn things around for us.
God showed king Nebuchadnezzar the judgment that was looming on him for his sins of rebellion and wickedness. Nebuchadnezzar had been exalted by God. But he exalted himself above God and claimed personal glory for his greatness. He even made a golden image and commanded that the image be worshipped by all and sundry, instead of God. Acting on King Nebuchadnezzar’s command, three Jews in the Babylonian kingdom had been bound and cast into a fiery fire for refusing to bow down and worship the golden Image: Shadrack, Messach, and Abednego. He threw them into the fire
to fulfill his threat in Dan. 3.15 ``--------but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?’’ Without any doubt “JEHOVAH’’ is that God that can deliver in every manner of circumstance, and he delivered them unhurt.
Daniel 4:27-30, God spoke through Daniel to King Nebuchadnezzar “wherefore, O King, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; it may be a lengthening of thy tranquility”. After this admonition, God gave him a space of twelve months to repent, but he wouldn’t. “At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. The king spake and said, is not this great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty.”
God executes judgment when we exhaust our set time
Daniel 4:31 tells us that while Nebuchadnezzar was still exalting himself, God’s Judgment fell from heaven, saying “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken: The kingdom is departed from thee. And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.” Nebuchadnezzar headed to the jungle in irresistible submission to God’s command to embrace a humiliating, grass eating experience which God had given him enough time and counsel to avoid.
To someone reading this admonition, God is saying “break away from your evil ways – from drugs, murders, robberies, kidnapping, pimping, impersonating, prostituting, demon worship, occult practices - and turn to Jesus”. God has been waiting to be gracious to you; waiting to turn away the plagues and heal you all – round.
He has already provided a platform for your turn – around through Jesus Christ, his son.
The call:
Until God takes his place in your life, you have no real place in life. God can turn any king of any description into a beast, as he did with Nebuchadnezzar. In the same vein, he can restore a failing, and dying being to unimaginable glory. He can send a person to heaven or to hell. God’s eternal purpose for humanity on earth is that every man should embrace salvation through Jesus Christ and secure a qualification ticket to heaven. Death cannot be wished away by anyone, as much as heaven or hell cannot be wished away. Embrace Jesus as lord and savior, and let his Spirit lead and prepare you for heaven. This may be your last opportunity to change your destiny and access lasting peace. God has already allowed you sufficient time and space to make this decision for your eternal good. If you reject Jesus, damnation is inevitable in this time and the time to come. Jesus is coming soon as he has said in Rev.22:11-12 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be”
Prayer
I pray that God’s compassion and favor comes upon you instantly, that He makes a way for you in that thing where your human abilities have failed. May He bring an end to your pain, and suffering; restore you to glory on earth, and to eternal glory in heaven, AMEN.

A NEW AND PROSPEROUS GENERATIONAL ORDER WITH GOD
I bring you the final part of our above captioned message.
God does not take half measures.
God supervises the ex*****on of his judgments, and he carries them to the letter. Speaking about Eli the high priest to Samuel, God said “..............Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which the ears of everyone that heareth it shall tingle. In that day, I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end. For I have told him that I will Judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile , and he restrained them not”. (1sam. 3:11-12)
When God took action, Israel experienced events never before experienced: 1 sam.4 chronicled the events as follows:
Verse: 2. About four thousand Israeli soldiers were killed by the philistines in a battle.
Verse: 11. And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phnehas were slain
Verse: 18. Eli the high priest fell down, brake his neck and died.
Israel struggled for decades under this judgment and the calamities that followed. The punishment on Israel was indeed good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. Endeavor never to be at the receiving end of God’s wrath in respect of offences against him or against any man: you may not survive it. God rarely stops half way.
Jacob’s evil against Esau, and the punishment.
Chapter 27 of Genesis recounts how Jacob took advantage of his father Isaac’s blindness and deceptively collected a blessing the father had intended to bestow on his senior brother, Esau. Having to run to Padanaram, in Syria to labor in the house of Laban was the beginning of Jacobs’s tribulation. I will draw lines of comparison between what Jacob did against Esau, and what happened to him in turn over a period of twenty years:

1. Jacob deceptively disguised himself and impersonated Esau and thereby collected blessings that were intended for Esau. Gen: 27. As a consequence, Laban and his whole family watched him labor for seven years for Rachael whom he really loved, only to give him Leah, whom he did not love. “And he said unto Laban give me my wife for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in into her. And Laban gathered all the men of the place, and made a feast”. They made everything look real and made Jacob believe that he was marrying Rachael. But “.... it came to pass, that in the morning, behold, it was Leah: and he said to Laban, what is this that thou hast done unto me? Did I not serve with thee for Rachael? Wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?” Jacob had forgotten how he impersonated Esau and stole his blessing (Gen.29:18-26)

2. Jacob, having cheated on Esau, was cheated over his legitimate blessing from Laban, in recompense. He lamented in Gen. 31.41-42: “thus, I have been twenty years in thy house, I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times. Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty”. Jacob’s tribulations explain the true sense of the statement: good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. It is God’s nature to punish those who execute evil against you if you trust him enough to surrender your life to his only son, Jesus Christ. God, in his righteousness shall fight for you, punish to all the wicked people around you and settle you gloriously.
The call
Perhaps you have been deprived of your blessing over and over. You may have developed a feeling of emptiness and hopelessness because of deceptions which may have driven you into rebellion against God. But, as the Lord God liveth, there is hope for you. You have a helper in the son of God, Jesus Christ. He is calling you to give you strength and direction. The devil’s intention is to drive you to a form of rebellion which will only worsen your situation, or even drive you to commit su***de. Jesus Christ is right there with you to spoil the game plan of Satan. He will start a new and prosperous life with you. You need to register your sonship with God by asking Jesus to come into your life and reign as your savior. Tell him you are surrendering to his lordship, and ask him to forgive your sins and undertake for you. Pray now and let him take over your battle, whatever it may be. If you receive Jesus, things will begin to change for you. Then identify with a church and serve God.
The secret to a harmonious life is not in seeking enchantments, divinations, witch doctors, necromancers and such like. It is in surrendering to Jesus and acquainting yourself with him. Accept Jesus today as your lord and savior. Jesus is your sure savior. God bless you all.

A NEW AND PROSPEROUS GENERATIONAL ORDER WITH GOD
ONE: YOU WILL GET WHAT YOU GIVE
It is no News to anybody that God is just. But we tend to be unmindful of how our just God administers his justice system, particularly, as it relates to giving and receiving. There is a popular scripture in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again”. This scripture is often declared in churches when “offerings” are about to be collected. Most people have, therefore, confined this scripture to giving and receiving of church offerings. The verse preceding this scripture (v.37) reads “Judge not and ye shall not be judged: condemn not and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.” Taken in the right context, the scripture refers to attitude, behavior and character as it does to material substance.
The thought to deduce from the words “good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over” is that we will receive what we give in a more than proportionate measure, whatever it may be. The only thing is that the retributions or benefits do not come immediately after our actions. Sometimes, they come a very long time after; when we may have forgotten the actions we have meted out to others. Secondly, they do not come from the very people we have helped or wronged. They come from different sources in very unlike circumstances; but they will always come. God’s word says “vengeance is mine, I will repay”. We should always bear it in mind that, actions, whatever they are, will attract reactions from the sovereign God, before whose eyes all actions and things are naked and open. Prayers will not make void or cancel reactions or retributions earned by deliberate actions. The right to avenge or bless is solely God’s. We need to trust the faultless God to handle matters better than we can ever do. Therefore, don’t get bogged down by offences. Get on with your life expecting God to compensate you for every abuse. Trust God that no mistreatment or subversion by any human being can diminish you or overturn what God has destined for you. Keep doing what is divinely right. God will soon stand up for you. Be still and know that God is God. Stay blessed.
