THANK YOU FOR HONOURING CARL 🤍🕯️
Yesterday, we gathered in Jos with heavy hearts, but also with gratitude, love and beautiful memories, to honour the life of Carl James.
We lit candles for him.
We shared stories and tributes.
We laughed. We cried.
And, just as Carl would have wanted, we danced.
To everyone who came to stand with us, thank you.
Thank you to Carl’s family, friends, colleagues, classmates, associates and everyone whose life he touched. Thank you to those who travelled, rearranged their schedules, showed up in white, carried a candle, shared a memory, danced, prayed, supported the planning, or simply stood beside us in our grief.
Your presence reminded us that Carl’s life mattered, his impact was real, and he was deeply loved.
As we said last night:
“Carl, you danced through life.
Tonight, we danced in your memory.”
The candles may have gone out, the music may have stopped, and the procession may be over, but the memories remain.
May we continue to carry Carl’s light, his laughter, his energy, his kindness and the beautiful memories he gave us.
To everyone who showed up for Carl—thank you for showing him love one more time. 🤍
