It was a moment of fulfillment and celebration as the Akwa Ibom Agricultural Initiative and Charity Foundation (AKAI-CF) successfully concluded its impactful 3-month training program on Sustainable Crop Production, which commenced on January 16th, 2026 and officially came to a close yesterday, March 27th, 2026.

The training program, designed to equip participants with modern knowledge and practical skills in crop production, witnessed active participation, dedication, and commitment from all attendees throughout its duration.

At the grand finale, participants who successfully completed the program were honored with Certificates of Participation, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward agricultural empowerment and self-reliance.

In his remarks, the National Coordinator, Obong Kingsley Umoren, expressed heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their consistency, resilience, and eagerness to learn. He emphasized that the training served as a vital refresher on the fundamentals and evolving techniques of sustainable crop production. He further assured participants that a livestock-focused training session will be introduced soon to broaden their agricultural capacity and opportunities.
The highlight of the memorable event included the presentation of certificates to participants and a colorful group photograph session, capturing the joy and achievement of the day.
The program stands as yet another testament to AKAI-CF’s unwavering commitment to agricultural development and poverty alleviation.
