THE EVIDENCE OF NEW LIFE IN JESUS
“Finally then, brethren, we urge and exhort in the Lord Jesus that you should abound more and more, just as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God.” 1 Thessalonians 4:1

New life in Jesus Christ is not about going to church or changing your church, It’s not about being serious or being committed in church or being involved in the church as a worker, deacon or minister.

New life in Jesus Christ is far from getting involved in fasting and prayer meetings, attending every church programs and special conferences and programs.

It’s more than being faithful in tithes and offerings, sowing to pastors’ lives or donating generously to church or ministries. The new life in Jesus goes beyond taking Holy Communion, speaking in tongues, doing miracles or preaching about Jesus. It’s not about singing praises and worship. It’s not about what you claim to be or what your people call you.

New life in Jesus Christ is all about how you walk with Him and how you please Him. It says, "How you ought to walk and to please God.” 1 Thessalonians 4:1

HOW YOU WALK
Genesis 17:1- Walking before God and be perfect. That is the number one evidence of your new life in Jesus, if truly you have it. The walk here is about our lifestyles and attitudes. Before you come to Jesus, you walk in a sinful lifestyle and ungodly attitude. Ephesians 2:2, "in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience"

But when you come to Jesus and you genuinely surrender your life to Jesus, you don’t continue to live and behave the ways and manners you were used to. Your lifestyle must change so that will be obvious to people. Your attitude, your action and re-action, your manner of responding to people and situations, your way of talking, your way of dressing, your priority, your focus, your motivating factors in life, and your mindset.

Your salvation in Christ Jesus must also affect your relationship with people, those relationships you need to end and those you must continue and how you must relate with people. Genuine salvation in Jesus Christ will affect your business and work, as a genuine child of God, what business or work you must do and how you must do them.

Walking with God is practical, persistent and permanent!

Say LORD, THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME. HELP ME TO WALK WITH YOU AND PLEASE YOU DAILY. AMEN IN JESUS NAME.

BE FAITHFUL TO THE END
In this Christian road/journey, there are 3 categories of Christians: The first category are the FAITHFUL, these are the people who care to know the mind of God and faithfully obey till the end. The second category is the MISSING MULTITUDE, these are the multitude of people who don’t care for the true word of God nor care to obey it. The third category are COMPROMISING PEOPLE - the people who care to know the true word of God but fail to obey till the end, so they compromise along the way.

If we want to be among the saints who will receive “Well done, good and faithful servant” greeting in heaven on the last day, then we must faithfully surrender our lives to Jesus Christ and faithfully stand on the truth to the end without missing it or compromising, we should not mind the majority who are missing it, who are misinterpreting the Word of God, who are mixing up with the world; also we should not mind the compromising Christians, pastors, churches who are messing up and molesting their white garment in the name of modern or mega church system.

You see, Christian race is personal and not collective, the fact that your popular pastor or church approves or supports something does not make that thing right before God, the fact that your church or pastor is compromising the word of God in one aspect or the other does not mean the multitude that follow such will be exonerated on the last day, the fact that multitude of Christians in the whole world are involving in a rebranded or renamed worldliness called modernization does not mean that God will change His stand and consider them to enter heaven.

In your family, in your church, in your place of work, in your school, in your business and even among children of God, you must make your personal stand on the word of God and live by it; you must dare to stand on the unchanging word of God not on your church standard or pastor’s standard. The word of God is settled in heaven and will never change for this generation but ready to change this generation for God, as many who are willing to surrender to the Lord.

It is not just about knowing the truth, but living by the truth, and it is not just about living by the truth now but faithfully living by the truth till the end of your life and ministry, it is then we will receive a “Well done, good and faithful servant” in heaven!

“His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant….” Matthew 25:21.

TOPIC: THE NEEDFUL

Luke 10.42, "But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her."

What is it that is needful to you? What is the thing that is more important to you? What is the thing that you can do without? May I tell you today that all what you acquires here on earth is for a specific time, its temporarily and it shall be taken away from you.

The earthly position that you are today is for a time. The houses, cars and materialism in your care today is just for a while and it will be taken from you.
The PhD, Masters is just to be used for a period of time, and it shall be taken away from you.
There is nothing in the world that is worth dying for, our cravings for earthly things is just like chasing the wind.

In the text above, we see a lady who chose the only thing that is needful while her sister choose otherwise. Her sister is carried away with serving the table, she's occupied, distracted while she neglects the important thing that is needful which is to serve at the Master feet's. Truly what Martha is doing was important but it is not needful.

What is it that you are doing that has distracted you, occupied you, and make you busy to serve God? What are you only concerned doing that has taken away the time you should spend with your God? What are you craving for that have replaced the hunger of God in you? Is it to build a house? Is it to ride the latest car? Is it to be the most important man on earth? Is it to be the most richest man or woman on earth? Is it to have a son or daughter?

What is it? May I tell you today that, if you acquire those things, it shall be taken away from you because it is not the needful.

The only needful things that will not be taken away is to give your life to Jesus completely, to sit at His feet daily listening to His word of life. All accomplishments are trash compared to your salvation.

" Lord, help us to focus on You as we go about our daily activities. Amen"

BOUNDLESS DAILY DEVOTION

TOPIC: FLESH CALLETH UPON FLESH
Bible verse: "For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live." Romans 8:13.

Every Christian has flesh to crucify daily. Flesh in you may be silent and inactive by the word of God, but if care is not taken, flesh in another person will call the flesh in you into action, because flesh calleth upon fresh. Bad action in a person can call upon anger in you. Carnal attitude in a person can bring up envy, jealousy in you. Worldly dress in a person can call upon lust in you. Bad attitude can call upon bitterness, revenge in you.

Fight can call upon fighting in you. Lust can call upon lust. Shouting can call upon shouting. Bad driving or bike riders can call upon bad language or cursing from you. People not caring or calling can call upon same attitude in you. Selfishness can call upon selfishness. Temper can call upon temper.

Because flesh calls upon flesh, flesh attracts flesh in another person. So how do we overcome? We must be watchful and prayerful not to make provision for the flesh, because flesh is always around, but we must not make provision for it. "But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." Romans 13:14. Putting on the Lord Jesus, reading and meditating the word of God, being watchful and praying, daily examining our lives and taking to correction. As we do this, the flesh becomes impotent and dead.

Lord, as we walk with you today, help us to put flesh to dead and to be watchful not to make provision for it in our lives, family, work, business, ministry in Jesus. Amen!

You are as good as your last performance, not last year performance

OCCUPY TILL I COME
While we are waiting on thr Lord for something, we must occupy ourselves profitably till He comes.

Are you trusting God for a good job you long desired? That is great, but while you are waiting, occupy with something till God comes to visit you with the miracle job.

You are trusting God for admission? Occupy yourself till He comes. You are trusting God for marriage, children or any blessing? Occupy yourself with something till He comes.

You lost your job and you are believing God for a good job, occupy till it comes. Do not stay idle in the name of waiting for God's miracle.

The Bible says, "And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come." Luke 19:13.

It is certain that He will come to visit you miraculously, but you must occupy with one or two things till He comes. There is no room for idleness in the kingdom of God. And waiting upon the Lord is not an excuse to stay idle doing nothing.

Whatever you are trusting and waiting upon the Lord for, there is always one or two things you can profitably occupy yourself with till He comes.

The Mystery Of Believing!
"And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.” Matthew 9, 28, 29.

What you believe happens to you; your faith is an agreement between you and what you believe.
