The White-headed Vulture (Trigonoceps occipitalis) is listed as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List. This African species faces an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild due to rapid population declines driven by poisoning, loss of food sources, and habitat degradation, with an estimated 5,500 individuals
