📢 IMPORTANT LOGISTICS NOTICE: CNY 2026 & Port Klang Updates

Attention to all our valued customers and partners. Please take note of these critical regulatory changes and holiday notices affecting your shipments this February.

🚛 1. Chinese New Year Road Ban (Heavy Vehicles)
To ensure smoother traffic during the festive season, the Ministry of Transport has announced a road ban for heavy vehicles on the following dates:

Dates: 14 & 15 February (Sat/Sun) and 21 & 22 February (Sat/Sun).

Category 1 (Heavy Trucks/Machinery): Total ban for the entire day (Sepanjang masa).

Category 2 (Container Trucks): Movement is restricted from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Exception: Container transfers between ports/airports and industrial areas within the same state are permitted.

⚓ 2. New Port Klang Free Storage Rules (Effective 1 Feb 2026)
The Port Klang Authority (LPK) has revised the additional free storage incentives:

Import & Export Containers (FCL/LCL): Reduced to 96 hours.

Notice Requirements: To avoid extra charges, please submit your documents within these windows:

Exports: Submit Collection Advice within 24 working hours.

Imports: Submit ROT and all documents within 48 working hours.

⚠️ 3. Liability & Congestion Advisory
Due to extreme port and depot congestion expected between 10 February and 10 March 2026:

Hauliers will not be held responsible for any claims regarding demurrage, storage, detention, or SSR charges incurred during this period.

Clients are strongly advised to plan shipments early to avoid vessel shut-outs or high operational costs.

Heavy Trucks (Category 1): No movement allowed during these dates.

Container Trucks (Category 2): Restricted movement from 8 PM to 8 AM.
