The Bukit Bintang is a star in its own right: every day, thousands throng this station, whose name literally translates to “star hill”.

Flanked on either side by two shopping malls and located above Jalan Sultan Ismail, this station brings you to the Golden Triangle - Kuala Lumpur city's foremost retail haven.

Bukit Bintang has been an entertainment hub since early 1930's. From the scintillating cabaret shows of the past to the amusement parks of old, it was where city dwellers, just awakening from a more laid-back kampung lifestyle, flocked to be part of a burgeoning city.

As the years passed, the city skyline transformed but nothing changed about the need for a way to enter the city without worrying about parking one’s car or dealing with the heavy traffic on the roads. Meeting this need to some extent, the Bukit Bintang station can also claim credit to bringing economic mobility to the area.

We can surely say, one has not truly been to or seen Kuala Lumpur until you’ve gotten off at this station and walked the streets of Bukit Bintang.

The MRT Hotline is the first 24-hour call centre in Malaysia for the construction industry.

The call centre is part of the MRT complaint management system (CMS) and is cross coordinated with the MRT Emergency Response Team (ERT) and all Work Packages Contractors (WPC) for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) Line and Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line.

The complaints are categorised into Traffic, Environment, Safety and Public Inconvenience. Once the complaints are registered in the system, steps will be taken to resolve the issue according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Interesting facts to be shared.

Dato’ Keramat LRT Station was named after Kampung Dato’ Keramat – one of the earliest settlements in Kuala Lumpur.

According to legend, Dato' Keramat was once a man - a Dato' who had a high standing in society and a reputation for supernatural ability - "keramat".

Dato' Keramat is also referred to in Chinese as Na Tuk Kong (earth spirits) and is considered a localized form of worshipping the spirit of the land.

Today, Dato’ Keramat station serves as the contact point for the ordinary working class to get to their workplaces every day, opening up opportunities for them to work with multinational corporations.

Sepatu Safety (Safety Shoes) adalah salah satu Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) yang harus dipakai oleh seseorang ketika bekerja guna menghindari resiko kecelakaan. Dengan memakai sepatu Safety, pekerja akan lebih leluasa bergerak sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dan hasil produksi yang diharapkan.

Sepatu ini terbuat dari kulit dipadukan dengan metal, di bagian bawahnya terbuat dari karet yang tebal. Dengan bahan itu, pekerja akan aman dari berbagai kecelakaan seperti tusukan, tergelincir, tersengat listrik, kejatuhan benda-benda berat dan panas, serta cairan kimia berbahaya.
